Robert Phillips and David Hoover are Simply the Best as the song goes! Robert Phillips handles the building and remodeling and David Hoover does the roofing and windows. These guys do EXCELLENT work and they are extremely reliable and ethical. In 2010, I first hired David Hoover to put a new roof on my rental property in El Paso. You can check out the review I wrote for him in Oct of 2010. It is important that I point out that I live in La Jolla, California and have no family in El Paso; Keep in mind that the work I describe here was done COMPLETELY UNSUPERVISED! In Aug of 2012, my tenants were moving out so I talked to Robert Phillips about putting in floors when it became vacant. I also asked him to "be my eyes" and tell me what else he thought needed to be done. (I had visited El Paso in June so I had an idea.) Not only did he accommodate me, he even went to the property to get the keys from the tenants and dealt with them personally to help me with the move out. He was patient, generous with his time, and advised me conservatively by only suggesting that the interior be painted as well. I'm not much of an interior decorator. I am a professional singer and focus on entertaining people and drafting ironclad contracts for my performances. I asked Robert to pick out the carpet, the tiles, and the paint. He was wonderful about it. He has impeccable taste, by the way, and matched everything together beautifully. They did all the work completely unsupervised and went the extra mile for me to make sure everything turned out perfect. They even arranged for the house to be cleaned and the trash that my former tenants left behind to be hauled away, as well as cleaned up the yard for me. Robert sent me pictures of the work and I was very pleased. These guys are simply the best, better than all the rest...
My wife and I absolutely love our home from Winton! It's perfect for us and just what we needed and wanted. The attention to detail in the house is something I love the most about it. Winton definitely built us the "home of our dreams"! We're also very grateful for David--he was a big help to us…
One of the things we absolutely LOVE about our home from Edward's is the fact that all their homes are unique and different in their own way. We decided to buy an Edward's home is because none of them are cookie-cutter houses and we just love our one-of-a-kind home :)
Mountain Vista was wonderful to work with! I'm in the Army, so when I arrived in El Paso, I was living in a hotel. Mike Santamaria showed me 2 models which were available. There was a little bit that needed to be worked on to finish the house. Mike put me in a "loaner" house rent free while my h…
In March of 2007 My family and I moved into our new home. The feeling of owning a Sanderson Custom Home is to awesome too put into words. After 5 years of selling these gorgeous homes and seeing family after family move in with such joy. I finally had the chance to experience that same Joy. I w…
Tropicana homes sandstone ranch has to be the worst built homes-we've had multiple issues from electrical, plumping, sinking rock wall, total rip off and angela feathers was terrible to work with. biggest mistake ever trying to buy through them.
Nathan is an outstanding Realtor. He was able to accommodate our needs based on our tight schedule to locate and purchase a home. He was knowledgeable and listened to our requests. He went above and beyond what we expected. I would recommend him to everybody! Excellent Buyer’s Representative!
after visiting Daisy Foster care I was surprised that they had no hot water. Their gas bill had not been paid. The home telephone was not in service, it had been disconnected. I questioned what happened and if the gas would be turned back on, and I was told that the owner of Daist Care had not p…
I Purchased a home from this company and the owner is a typical used car salesman. His homes are overprised and he offers limited upfront information when offering his services. The problem is he will make every effort to cut corners and/or use to the poorest quality of building materials.
When we walked in the the Show Home for DR Horton I had been looking at houses most of the day already. Myself, mom, dad and my daughter met Bill Reyes. We were taken to the business by a then realtor I was renting from. I left that day very upset after learing information I was not expecting, but Bill did not hesitate to help me in any way he could. After that day the realtor that took us to the home gave 0% interest in helping my husband and I buy a home, so thereafter Bill took on full responsiblity until the day we closed. He always encouraged us to never give up hope. Still now, 6 months later, he always answered my calls, returns e-mails and helps out as much as he possibly can. We bought a home just around the corner from the "show home" and my children like Bill so much, they ride their bikes over there all the time to say hello to Bill at "his house." Thank you, Bill Reyes, for being such a and great person and now friend!!
We customized our floor plan, the ceiling in 2 rooms, indirect lighting, we did a surround sound for both inside and outside, pre-wiring for theatre room, hookups for cameras throughout the house, customized shutters, installed wine chiller, tile wood for master bed and bath, shower customized, arch doorways throughout the house. Carlos was great, he gave us insights on our ideas, he also gave us headups within our budget, he was very flexible, and we went with his ideas for a lot of things. Very professional business and friendly customer service, they educated us in regards to the home, how to maintain and keep up with it. Aside from a few cosmetic problems, everything in the house looks great! They were very helpful. We are very very happy with our home.
My husband was in the Rehab to Home program for about 5 weeks. Nursing staff was great, OT was great. Some attitude & confidentiality issues with PT. The weakest link in the service delivery was the social services and discharge planning. The social worker was not well informed about New Mexico services and was not helpful in providing the information needed to make good informed choices about support services at home in a proactive manner. He was rude at times, and obviously had not read my husband's chart in terms of diagnosis and prognosis. The menu for the facility looked great, but my husband didn't find the food appetizing. Setting is pretty, no odors and most of the staff were delightful to work with.
I purchased my Palo Verde Home in December of 2010. Shortly thereafter, El Paso experienced some of the worst freezing weather in its history. The results included bursting pipes, severe water leaks and power outages. At the height of the freeze and during the coldest part of the night, power was lost at my house. For three hours, I had zero heat and yet during that three hour period the temperature inside dropped only two degrees. This early experience with my home was enough for me to know that I had made the right decision when choosing a homebuilder. Quality of construction, excellent customer service and of course beautiful homes, are all things that homebuyers can expect from Palo Verde Homes!
My wife and I served a combined 45 years in the United States Army, and during those years we learned the meaning of honor, quality and commitment. When our final tour was complete, and we decided to build our long awaited retirement home, we choose Palo Verde Homes after interviewing countless of other builders. It was the honesty, integrity and dedication of Edgar Montiel that made us look no further. Two years after moving into our gorgeous home, Edgar and Palo Verde have over delivered in every way possible. From beginning to end Palo Verde Homes have lived up to honor, quality and commitment in every way.
We started out in our home search with very specific needs and wants. After informing Serena of what we were looking for, she made sure the homes she showed us met our requests. After seeing only a handful of houses, we found the one we've been dreaming of. We're very grateful that Serena was the one helping us out. She was very knowledgeable about our home and the area it's in. She also guided us through every step of the way and got us the best possible deal. Even after we closed off the deal, Serena still addressed our concerns and answered any and all questions. She was always there, willing to help!
The three reviews were totally wrong. As the appraiser, we never give the opinion of value to anyone other than the client. The client is the company ordering the appraisal. The appraisal goes to the company ordering the appraisal. The appraiser never stated anything about drugs. There was no one to discuss drugs or the purchase of a home on the east side. The appraiser has never used illicit drugs. The person leaving the previous 3 reviews left 3 foul mouthed messages on the appraiser's voice mail white the appraiser was out of town. Everything reported in the three reviews was simply lies.
Our house is Wonderful...It's holding up to 4 kids and 2 dogs! We have been in our house a year now, but remembering back, the employees at Mountain Vista were fabulous. My husband was on the east coast at the time of our closing. So I had to take care of all the closing myself. I had never had to do this without my husband with me befolre. But Mountain Vista made the process go very smoothly. The foreman was incredible, and got all the loose ends with the contractors tied up. It was a wonderful buying and closing experience. I am so glad we chose Mountain Vista homes!
We purchased our Accent home back in 2011. I don't think we could be any happier with our house or the service we received. They were all very helpful from day one and were very patient with all of our questions and concerns. We had just moved from AZ to El Paso, so it was a very hectic and stressful time in our lives. We are very grateful that the transition into our new home was very simple. My wife and I would recommend Accent Homes to anyone looking for a home built with excellent workmanship and quality materials, and at a great price.
