today December 9 i went again as every month and i had a great experience with the hair cut for my sons, I notice they had bad reviews but is usually the people that don't like it because their kids cry too much, I was in right now and the lady was so nice to the little girl and she was very spoiled by the mom asking her to tell her if the hair hurts, then she wanted to dry her hair and the mom was saying don't because she might cry and the little girl was trying to bite the hair stylist and the mom wouldn't say anything, some parents over react and do not teach the kids to respect, and expect the ladies to do wonderful jobs. learn some respect too. and you ladies keep up the good work, I'm a customer since 2012.
I went there because of an advertisement from groupon so thank god I only had paid 9.00. N absolutely no tip. She asked what I wanted done to my three yr old n explained I wanted a fade n fro hawk on top. First thing she does is buzz him up the back of his head with a number 1!!!! N then said to me this is a one is this good n I looked and said NO omg that's bald!!!! There's no hair there!!! N she said well u said fade n I said I didn't say bald!!! N then she tried to fix n blend it upwards n use scissors for frohawak n after 10 min I just said I'm not happy with that n to buzz it all off with number 3 clip. I was so upset. My sons third birthday in a week n his reg stylist at AMA hair salon was out. He's been going there since he was 12 months old. I am NEVER going back to this lolis and mike place. Horrible experience !!! I wouldn't recommend them either.
We took our daughter in for a hair cut. I explained I just wanted a simple bob cut that would turn under. The lady looked at me like she didn't understand what I was asking her to do. We opted not to have her hair dried because it cost $5 more, and really I didn't think it was possibly to mess up a bob hair cut, especially if that was your profession. We went and had lunch and as her hair dried I became very upset. The back was several different lengths and the under layer was the longest, causing the top layer to flip outward, and there were several long pieces just hanging down her neck. I mean, inches longer than the rest of her hair. I was in disbelief at how bad the cut was, I honestly felt I could have done a better job if I'd done it myself. We've never gone back to a salon to have a bad cut fixed before, but in this case I couldn't leave her hair like that. We went back and the girl was annoyed that she had to stop doing her nails to help us a second time. She was very rude about it. Another lady ended up helping us, but the whole time she was touching up the cut, the first lady who cut my daughter's hair was making rude, bossy comments to her such as "You have to sit up. Hold your head back." Very rude and unkind, and she wasn't even cutting my daughter's hair that time! I cannot believe the rudeness with which we were treated and we will never go back to Lolis and Mike's. Terrible customer service and a botched hair cut that we paid $20 for. I have never written a bad review for any company or service, but in this case I felt I needed to do so.
We took my 1 year old son to get a haircut... Figured that he would enjoy the idea of siting in the little car while doing so. He was very calm for about 10 minutes... Hairdresser never told us she didn't have size 1 clip and was improvising a little technique... Well my son had zero patience for it. She said she could go get clipper at her boyfriends and it would be 20 minutes... She suggest we take him to get an ice cream. Lol. He gets haircuts frequently and it's usually a 5 minute cut. Needless to say we walked out... Went to Yes We Do. :) Place itself is awesome and has so much potential... Very dissatisfied. Waste of time.
the best haircut for my sons are here, i bring them every moth for the haircuts for longer than a year, and i highly recommend Maria and Mayra they are the best.
they have a police car that is so cool for boys to let the stylist cut the hair, before this place, i use to have trouble getting my sons to agree to go to get a haircut.

I had a very bad experience. My daughter's hair was still wet when we left the shop and it seemed to be fine. After it dried and upon further inspection it was severely crocked. One side was very noticeably longer than the other. The back was very jagged. My daughter is 6 an sat very still, so this is excusable. We live 30 minutes away from the salon, so it is not a quick trip to go back for a fix. To make it worse they are closed on Sunday, so my daughter now has to go to school on Monday with a very messed up hairdo. I am so upset and when I addressed the issue, I was told I was very rude. Since when is it rude to let someone know that a $20 haircut was not done correctly? I spent my money and a good amount for a haircut I could have easily done myself. Very , very disappointed. I want to add that I have never left a review on any business, just never felt it was worth the time. However, I am so upset with the service and then the response I got when I let them know about it that I had to warn others.
Karina is the best hair dresser, I have ever met. I was going to take my kids to the salon i get my hair done, but decided to give Lolis & Mike a try. No regrets, my kids hair turned out beautiful, and ever since then I have taken them there. My daughter who is one year old, was in need of her first hair cut, and of course i took her to Karina this week. My daughter was obviously skiddish because she is still a baby, but Karina was patient, and put a movie in to calm her down. She has given all 3 of my children their first hair cuts, I am glad it was her, and not someone who doesn't know what they are doing. the shop is beautiful, and so is she. She has plenty of toys, and magazines to do while you are waiting, and while your children are waiting. She makes great conversation and is so sweet. I used to try to cut my son's hair. By the end of the cut he always fought me and ended up crying, even with my husband's help. Now he LOVES to get his hair cut at this place!
