General Info

Conveyors & Materials Handling is a family-owned and operated business with headquarters in El Paso, Texas. We were founded in 1988 by Robert LaBelle, an entrepreneurial engineer who moved to the borderland in 1972. As business and manufacturing moved into the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico, a void emerged between the industrial equipment suppliers and the production facilities. Mr. LaBelle began to travel the Southwest to meet with facility engineers and purchasers where he was successful in identifying equipment requirements. He then contacted the manufacturers of industrial equipment and began to represent the lines in the region.
