The Vietnamese Nails & Beauty Association (VNBA) proudly presents D'Vine Nail Spa as one of the Top Best Salons for best cleanliness , sanitation , friendly services and creative designs ! Highly recommended !
I think it's safe to say that in El Paso its nail shops by the dozen:/ however I have landed on three that are actually worth anything this is my third favorite. Third because of the price and location. It's not far off Joe Battle. I like the atmosphere and most of the nail clerks are pretty good HOA is my favorite. She speaks perfectly good English. She also is really talented. The prices are ok as well comparable at best. I get a basic mani and pedi
I had almost the exact experience that Mel B did. Horrible set of French manicure. Tech was so mad that I asked him to fix, that he cut through my skin underneath my nail while taking them off. My nails are hurting so badly and I am still bleeding from two thumb nails. After a dissatisfied customer left before me, they said it was ok if she never came back. I will never go back either. Save yourselves and go somewhere else! Worse experience ever!!
I went in to this salon excited that it was newly opened by my house. Initially, I was not even greeted upon entry. When a nail tech finally did address me, he coldly directed me to the back of the salon to pick a color. While i was waiting i noticed that there was quite a bit of nail residue on the floors, chairs, counters etc, but summed it up to being a busy weekend before the holiday. The nail tech that helped me advised me to try the dip for the french I wanted. His ratiolale was that its healthier, and stays on longer, and goes on much nicer. I agreed to his suggestion. He changed up his method after four fingers, and seemed unsure of the correct technique. This was my first time receiving this type of service, so I was unable to judge or critique early on, and decidedvto givevhim a chance to review the end product. I noticed the white strip was not even on any of my nails and crooked on some of the individual nails themselves. Also there were so many prominent bubbles on every nail, it looked more like a bad version of an ombre than a crisp french. It was terrible. I asked him about said bubbles, and his response was simply that this is how the dip is supposed to look. After expressing my discontent and explaining i wanted a "crisp french" He agreed to take it off. While doing so he wound up burning through my nail on my thumb and also the 2nd digit in my right hand. He also lacerated the skin on my pinky im attempt to remove the excess dip from my skin. At no point did he attept to put acetone on my nails. He showed no remorse at all during our encounter, and did not request help from his coworkers in an effort to save my nails or my business in the future. I have a few nails that are now paper thin, and a few that still have this terrible (now scratched up) bubble mess. Read the other horror stories from this place. Take caution. I literally was grimacing in pain and had blood dripping from my pinky and all he said was to wash my hands.
They don’t even deserve 1 star. The establishment is mediocre it is not even close to “spa” like, they have cheap nail polish with a few Opi options, they have terrible service as they are unfriendly and very rude, they seem cheap but up charge for every little thing. But most importantly they will damage your nails, they are NOT thorough/detailed nor 100% hygienic. Customers BEWARE!!
Pt2: After that unpleasant exchange was over she continued with the pedicure she seemed rushed as they had customers waiting. She did not moisturize or massage my legs/feet as the menu description claimed it would. What I picked detailed that it was included. And the towels she placed on my legs (that are normally steaming hot) were room temperature. Which just felt pointless. Well least to say I was totally bummed. I was mainly looking forward to the pedicure to Give my feet some love, this desert Heat and wind dries out my feet And I was looking forward to having them moisturized. Which she didn't do. 🤨 I live walking distance so i got my sitter to watch my kids for an hour and a 1/2 thinking of be back by then. Just so this mama could pamper herself as a birthday treat. But at this point I wasn't going to have her take any longer. I had been there 1hr .45min already just for a pedicure.. When I walked over to the nail Tech desk she seemed annoyed that they had customers waiting. She did 3 Coats of Polish on each hand and had me place them under the UV light and finished with a clear coat. She then Laughed and said "natural look" as if she was mocking what I had requested. Which was "neutral" (like my existing gel i had showed her) Not "natural" as i assume she misunderstood. She then charges me $80.....$80!!!!!!! Ladies! For not even the deluxe mani/pedi. When I questioned her why so much when I asked for the $35 pedicure and $15 manicure she said Gel cost $15 extra for each. I was so upset. I just wanted to get out of there after 2.5 hours. That same evening I look at my nails and 2 have chipped. How!??? I've had gel polish before and its impossible to remove without soaking/ filing. I dont believe that what she used was gel at all and charged me an additional $30 for it. I feel totally played and hate that I paid that much. Getting my nails done is not a monthly maintenance for me it's a rare luxury that my husband and I budget for when we have the extra funds to do so. So yeah. I was a pretty sad birthday mama.
