Once in a while can’t find information other than that it’s very good app
I love GECU they have an excellent staff
I first would say that after my fraud on my debit card while traveling in Europe that the credit union allowed I would not ever depend that that they the FLFCU are keeping you or your money safe. I was only allowed to withdrawl $800.00 A DAY AT A atm, MY DEBIT CARD WAS SCAMED AT A atm, THE CROOKS WERE PULLING OUT $3000.00 A DAY ON THE SAME BOGUS CARD.Then you cant see, speak or email directly to a manager or a supervisor you send a email to a general inbox then a person decides who you need to see?Customer service yeah right......Im taking my $25,000 to a real bank now, I suggest any customer of these people do the same, they dont protect you or your money, no fraud watch on your accounts like real banks have.Lastly dont feel secure using thier debit card and thinking they protect you.
They don’t care about their customers like they used to. Even if you had a good history with them, they turn you down. It has change it’s not about the customer anymore. Very upset to the point that I went to another bank.
There are two people that works in customer service - Omar and a woman I believe she is in her late 40s, Hispanic, and she wears glasses. They are very slow and very stupid. I was the only one sitting in the waiting and both time I sit there for over an hour. Don't bother calling, because they do not answer their phones. If you want to get seen quickly, go to Sunland Park or Transmountain.
One year ago today I walked into the bank to open a business account because the are supposedly a "Community Bank". My business was refused, because I had just gotten a divorce and was also going thru bankruptcy. What was worse was that the bank president said "you can come back later once you get on your feet and are doing better. Wow it wasn't like I was asking for a loan, I just needed a bank acct. Well BBVA wanted my money and all the accts of all my staff. A real community bank takes care of its community, not just those that are allready successful. Shame on u.
They lied when they posted their hours of operation. I really needed to get into the bank and exchange money for a trip we were taking but was very disappointed to see that they closed at 4pm instead of 5 like they posted .
Worst customer service I ever had. the only reason why this is the worst customer service ever is due to Candice in the loan department. I applied for a loan with her and while on the phone she is continually saying hi to coworkers and not focusing on our conversation and on top of that i recently financed a vehicle and she put in the application and for three weeks already I have been advised that it has not been completed yet. I spoke to Candice in the loan department today that i seem to get evrytime i call and she advised me that there is no loan listed for a refinance that she only has me down for applying for credit previously. since me and my wife are both on this loan application i gave her the info for my wife and still she advised i have no loan with them. after i hung up with her i log into the accoutn online and there it is in black and white even listing the account number. it seems as though firstlight cannot tell me if i have a account or not and you have to imagine how frustrating it is to here one thing form a rep of thier bank and go online and see another. make sure to get names of who you speak to.
First Light FCU has an unfriendly policy pertaining to deposits. As a federal retiree, my OPM pension falls on the first of each month. When the first falls on a weekend or holiday, First Light chooses to deposit the first work day following the weekend or holiday. When payday falls on a weekend with a Monday holiday, this is even more of a hardship. Pensioners and working people need to protest this policy, because it IS their policy (unlike GECU and most local banks who advance the deposit to Friday or the day before the holiday). The interest they make for holding payments a few days should not be more important than good customer service.
