I am new to El Paso and 13 Aug 2014, was my 1st time eating at Tony's. I have been looking for some quality Bar-B-Que in town and have found my place. Tony's you did a great Job and impressed me with your quality of Food and Service. My wife and kids showed up right before closing and they still…
After several visits to this restaurant, the always present good service, excellent food quality and now the expanded bar with longer hours of service, I'm ready to say that I've never been disappointed there, all employees are very attentive which is an image of the manager who runs the place,…

16. A J's Diner
Unfortunately, I didn't discover AJ's until I was in college, but once I did, it was a definite favorite! It has a long EP tradition, and it's easy to see why. Their ""Everything but the Kitchen Sink"" burger is THE BEST! I've lived and traveled all over the US and have NEVER found a burger n…
I was really disappointed at this restaurant. First, when you get there, there are only 3 parking spots, so i had to park next door by a gas station. Second, The prices are too high for the quality of the food, the meat on the ribs was so hard, the coleslaw tastes like shredded lettuce and mayo,…
29. Wing Daddys
Good food, great bar. Only problem is that they really make you feel like you have to leave well before closing. They start cleaning and packing everything way too early. Very uncomfortable. They need to stay open later.
It looks like the other person who has posted a review had the complete opposite experience. I live near this restaurant and have driven by on several occasions, I finally decided to take the family there I was was severely disappointed. The person who took our order was either having a really rough day, was suffering from allergies, or was busy smoking up in the back prior to our arrival because his eyes were really glassy and bloodshot (I later found out he was supposed to be the manager). Several of the items on the menu that we wanted were "out", I am assuming that Mac and Cheese were hot items during the lunch rush and they were no longer able to make anymore for dinner. The restaurant is not clean, in fact I asked for a table to be cleaned and was handed a rag and a spray bottle. I cleaned the table my family and I were sitting at, other patrons of the restaurant followed suit and did the same for their tables as well. Considering the restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived with only two couples ahead of us in line to order one would think the staff was able to clean, or maybe they were busy out back "smoking". After over an hour after ordering we finally received all of our food. I honestly wouldn't of minded waiting longer than the average time if the food was mind blowing, unfortunately it wasn't and I would consider it low grade BBQ. It was dry, and lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were gross and the green beans we obviously heated up straight out of the can. The condition of the restaurant was dirty, the service was poor, and the food was over priced and lack luster. This was overall a frustrating and disappointing dining experience. I will not eat here ever again and would not recommend Southern Smoke BBQ to anyone. Don't waste your time or money!
5 stars. Awesome ribs, awesome staff.
Five stars!! Great food and excellent service as always!
We waited about 10 minutes before getting to the counter & when we did we couldn't decide what we wanted to eat; we asked the cashier what to expect. She gave us a rundown of the combo meals, platters, & sides. We decided on the Chicken Fried Steak with Fried Okra and Mashed Potatoes/Gravy and the 3 Meat with the Smoked Turkey, Brisket, Pork Ribs and Fried Okra, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy & Baked Beans. We also tried the Fried Catfish. The Chicken Fried Steak was tender & thick. My combo plate Brisket was tender and juicy; the Turkey was to die for; and the Ribs were very meaty. I put xtra BBQ on all the meats. The mashed potatoes were homemade, since there were pieces & skin inside. The white gravy was perfect. The Fried Okra was tender w/ a crisp coating. The baked beans were made with a smoky BBQ taste & appeared to have brisket and pulled pork. The Fried Catfish was coated in a breading that was crisp & it was tender. We will be back. Only problem, we still won't know what to order.
Was seated by a nice hostess then waited and waited for a waitress to come to our table but after 10 minutes we decided to leave. They look a little disorganized...guess the waitresses are still learning.
Great service and great ribs! What else can a man ask for?
