Don’t try calling them, their voice mail is full (most likely due to the sub-standard work). Don’t try going to their business, because all you will get is smiles and promises of coming out there to fix the problem. This company was a subcontractor to build cabinets and countertops. The countertops are great, of course this company didn’t do the work another company did. The work that they did do was the cabinets, and this work is substandard is putting it lightly. It seems once they have your hard earn money, they don’t know you anymore. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go and give up their money to a company that doesn’t stand by their work.

I feel sad about writing a negative review for El Paso Blind & Shutters Co. The company's owner appears to be a truly kind man with good intentions, and I wish this was reflected in the quality of his company's work. Unfortunately, purchasing blinds from El Paso Blind & Shutters was a frustrating experience, and I remain deeply dissatisfied with the two jobs I hired them to complete: install blinds for two windows, and build two valences. Some of my frustrations included El Paso Blind & Shutters' (1) inability to meet deadlines they set (which resulted in long delays that forced me to track down what was happening, only to be blamed for not providing information I had provided), (2) lack of flexibility, including an unwillingness to discuss or propose different options/choices, (3) substandard products and poor attention to detail (e.g., blinds were not initially installed as requested, blinds were installed crooked, motorized blinds were haphazardly programmed, edges of blinds were unevenly cut, one valence was painted incorrectly, electrical wiring looks unattractive), and (4) clumsy workmanship (e.g., during installation, one of the blinds was dropped from the ceiling to the floor, and later, a ladder fell against my television). Ultimately, after months of trying to get the job completed, I was left feeling like the work I requested was probably inconvenient for being too minor of a contract, and wondering why El Paso Blind & Shutters pursued my business in the first place. My attempts to have these issues addressed were met with disregard and resistance (e.g., I was told blinds only looked slanted due to an optical illusion), and my level of frustration was high enough that I decided to cut my losses, settle with a product that doesn't live up to its promise (or price), and shop around more strategically next time I need to purchase blinds.
we were very happy with our blinds and the service. great prices.
