Randy Taylor is a nationally acclaimed photographer who does an excellent job! His photography portrays a person's true beauty... not a photoshopped image, that isn't really "you". His printed pictures will last a lifetime. Quality isn't cheap. You can buy cheap printed pictures at Wal-Mart or JC Penney, etc. - but those will fade through the years. I highly recommend him!
Booked a family session at Taylor Made earlier this year. The photographer was ok, and the staff were friendly. The prices are simply not competitive at all. Pick up their price sheet before you book there, and also ask the pricing for digital copies and release. For example, each printed 8 X 10 we purchased was $85, and it cost $150 for each pose for a digital copy and print release. Add it up for a large family with multiple poses / family breakdowns and everyone wanting printed photos of a number of shots. Spent over $1500 and have a handful of printed photos - and no digital copies - to show for it. And the photo quality is not THAT great. You can hire a digital photographer who will do a photo shoot that looks better and who will provide you a disk with ALL poses for about $250. You can then use an online provider (or local service) to print copies for much less. Taylor Made excused its ridiculous pricing for each digital copy by saying that they like to maintain "quality control" by printing the photos themselves, but it's clear that they want you to have to come back to them to purchase 8 X 10 or 5 X 7 photos at their ridiculous prices. Plus, the quality wasn't that great. TMP's pricing is simply behind the times.
