Awful! Save your money or take it elsewhere! The owner Steve is not professional, he talks at you and constantly interrupts. Really awful customer service! I had my pay dates mixed up for when the next session's payment was going to be directly deducted. I initially received a text, no problem and I was a little embarrassed I mixed it up. As soon as I received the text I called and spoke to Steve the owner, he let me know the last day to make the payment was on Friday and I let him know that would work and I would be in Friday at the latest to make the payment. I'm a single mom who works 40+ hours a week with 3 kids whom have 4 activities/sports each and our week days consist of one kid getting dropped off or picked up after or before dropping off another kid. Not including our weekend tournaments/games/etc. So needless to say I'm super busy! I finally had it today after receiving multiple texts about making a payment. I called and spoke to Steve and I was appauled by his lack of concern with what the actual call was referencing to. He kept interrupting me and had a bad habit of talking at me. I was shocked at the remark he made that "those were just friendly reminders and that they weren't mad that I hadn't made the payment yet". He was not in the same conversation I was in and the fact he had the nerve to imply I was worried about them being upset was very humorous. Mind you the payment they are trying to collect that's not due until the END OF THE WEEK isn't until NEXT WEEKS new session. My kid hadn't gone to a class that wasn't paid for so I found it funny that they would be mad. He finally caught on after he said "hello" a few times because I stopped talking because I was not going to continue a conversation where I was being rudely interrupted and talked over. I let everything settle and I decided to make a call to a reputable place I grew up in Edmond hearing about and made the decision to pull my daughter from this awful establishment and put her in a well know place that I should have went to in the beginning! Also, one of the instructors for my daughter did not seem very focused on the group. They are in there for a short amount of time and it's sad that's what you get for what you pay. I'm not sure if all gyms are like this one when watching practice, but it's really hard to see them while praticing and ridiculously crowded. We've done dance for years and this was our first try at gymnastics and with dance we watched monitors during pratices and it wasn't overly crowded where people are standing because there's not enough seating. I just don't understand in what world it's okay to continually send messages up until or maybe even the day of the last day to make a payment once you've VOICED you will be there. I've attached a picture of my call/text history. It shows I called after receiving the initial text and then the extra texts to follow after I had already spoke to Steve, the owner. Oh and he let me know he's also the person whom sends out the texts. Maybe this is a quantity over quality establishment and that's why he feels the need to hound and have an overly crowded establishment that is poorly ran.

***STEVE, if you happen to see this... Monday Intermediate Tumbling Class at 5:10 will have an opening from my daughter's spot, we've taken our business elsewhere. PLEASE take my information out of your system!

mrsRight please accept owners apology

As owner of Oklahoma Gold Gymnastics I'd once again like to apologize to you. Obviously we did a poor job of customer service last Wednesday morning. In fact, when I spoke to my office staff about our phone conversation that day, they were very disappointed with how they acted. The reptile toy situation was very embarrassing, and I'm sure that will never happen again. I truly do care about the children who attend my gym, and I am thrilled to see that you said ""class was Great"". Like you said on the phone, my son really loved it. Hopefully you will stay at Oklahoma Gold long enough to change your opinion of us and give us 5 stars one day. Until then I will try my best to encourage my staff to learn from their mistakes.
Warmest regards, Coach Steve

Not Impressed

Class was great, but overall a somewhat unprofessional establishment. Receptionist has issues. I am very picky and when the first impression isnt good I tend to think the same about the rest of the place. The only reason why there are no bad reviews is because most people don't take the time. If people truly care about their business I think they will do something about it.
