They will charge you for service they did not do. Claimed they rebuilt carb on my rider still has same gaskets and is now missing screws no new parts not cleaned at all. They will take advantage of you if you let them.
walkers is a great place they try to make it to where all you have to do is get a basic service yearly so if you have a bad or half baf carb they will try to clean it or replace because they dont want you to keep coming in for carb issues carb are one of the main reasons people have to get thier mowers worked on they have a great family run buisness very successful fast and thier great people very honest
took two mowers in to have the blades sharpened and the oil changed. They put new carbs on both mowers which increased my bill by $130. I told them I didn't budget for that and I couldn't pay and they told me I could leave the mowers there!! I told them to take off the new carbs because I hadn't asked for them and they ran fine when I brought them in and they told me the mowers wouldn't start at all with the old carbs. I had them take the new carbs back and started both mowers at the shop with the OLD carbs. They'll cheat you.

I think they do a good job but they have some communication problems. I think they are trying to run their business and raise the kids in the store. The person on the phone is too distracted to write things down accurately and completely, call customers or follow up on anything. They will do a good job if you call and personally go in to follow up. I think they are sometimes overwhelmed and can be short on the telephone.
Left my tiller outside in the rain for a month and never touched it. It is now seized up and ruined. I called after 2 weeks to check on it, and a lady rudely told me they were busy and would call when it was ready. After two more weeks, I gave up and went to get it. The guy said he just forgot about it cause no ticket was completed. I DID complete a ticket and called to remind only to be rudely put in my place.
Small family owned business. D.C. & Kristin are honest and go out of their way to help their customers. D.C. told me how to repair a mower problem I had the first time I went to their shop. On another occasion at the busiest time of summer, they repaired my Honda Commercial mower in 5 days when the shop I purchased from told me it would be a month. I had repeatedly had the Honda in the shop where bought it several times for a carburetor problem and they never fixed it right. D.C. repaired the mower at about half the amount was paying "Award Winning" shop. D.C. & Kristin are real winners.
