Jennifer Day Spa

I must review the deplorable experience that I had at Jennifer Day Spa II in Edison. My fab bf bought me a Groupon gift certificate as a surprise for my birthday. This gift certificate was stated to be for a 60 min organic facial AND a 60 min aromatherapy massage. It was stated to be a $198 (really 150) value for $59. I arrived late b/c I couldn't find the tiny store. Once inside, I noticed that the main area is clean & pretty, however the rooms are small, plain & don't smell aromatic. My massage started at 2:10, ended at 2:53 (43 mins). I was asked if I wanted soft/ deep massage. I asked for deep, the worker said "$10 more." She pressured me to buy more throughout my experience even after I explained several times this was a birthday present. She talked throughout my entire massage, asked me to teach her English. My facial experience was better but again I was pressured to buy more. After the store manager told me I needed to pay for sales tax, so an extra $5 (overcharged). Don't go!

I bought a groupon deal for a facial for the Jennifer Day Spa. After they cleansed my face they gave me a 'skin analysis' and recommended me to do a collagen treatment for the discounted price of $40. They also recommended products for me to use at home. So far, it is worked well for me.

It is a lovely place. Doesn't look like much on the outside but it is absolutely gorgeous inside. I went to get my eyelashes extended and they were very professional and quick. I was out in no time. The employees there has a great sense of humor as well. Will go back soon!
