I Used to Love this Place...

I lived in Edinboro for 5 years while attending the University. I spent literally hundreds if not thousands of dollars at this place because of how they support local artists and feature natural products. I had absolutely no bad experiences while I lived there, and it was one of my favorite places to be.

Now I have graduated and moved to Los Angeles. My sister lives in Edinboro now, and decided to send me a gift from Earthshine for Christmas. I have size 0g plugs for my ears, and my sister bought me a pair marked that size from Earthshine. Once I got them, it turned out they were 00g and I could not wear them. When I contacted the owner of Earthshine, she refused to return, exchange, or even provide store credit for the plugs, even though the size was misrepresented by her store. So, basically, my sister had to absorb 100% of the responsibility and cost for the store owner's mistake. I understand that there is a no return policy on body jewelry, but the cost of the mistake should have been split between the owner and my sister at the very least. So, while this is otherwise a great store DO NOT BUY BODY JEWELRY HERE! If you plan to, invest the $10 in a gauge wheel that will allow you to make sure that you are buying what you are paying for.

This one unprofessional act has tainted all my fond memories. I had actually hoped to visity Pennsylvania soon and buy gifts for my friends in Los Angeles from Earthshine. So by being stubborn about a $30 pair of plugs, she lost $100+ worth of business.
