I have been a customer for over 20 years and have always had great service. Any time I have needed help they were usually available the next business day and the technicians were able to find and fix the problem. I also like that they are a local company and will continue to use them in the future.
Concur with previous reviews. These people are are not only rude they are also clueless. Their Rainsoft (water conditioner) service technicians haven't the faintest idea as to what they are doing. When I called their office to complain about the service, the lady that answered the phone hung up on me.
There is a good reason this company has poor reviews. I moved into a home and took over the previous owners account since this was the easiest thing to do. There were two 120lb (I believe) propane tanks on the property. From the start, this company did the opposite of what was asked. In the middle of winter they decided to change us from a three week delivery to a three month delivery. Since my entire house runs on propane I nearly ran out.
The drivers aren't capable of driving their truck down a two vehicle driveway and drive through the front yard, leaving large tire tracks.
Since my tanks were leased, I decided to find a reputable company to purchase a tank and supply me with propane. I had a larger tank buried by another company and waited for the two smaller tanks to run low before switching over to the new tank. I monitored the gauge two or three times a week until the tanks were down to 25%. I then notified my new company and had them switch the tanks over.
It was my understanding from speaking with AG&WC that since the tanks were leased from them, they were responsible for the maintenance. This may or not be true, but it was what I was told. I contacted AG&WC to pick up the tanks after I no longer was using them and was informed I would be compensated for the propane which was still in them. Well, after waiting two months for a refund check or some kind of receipt or acknowledgement, I contacted them and spoke with Brenda. She informed me the tanks were empty when they were returned and because of that they waived the $60 return fee. I asked how that could be when the gauge showed they were 25% full and she said the gauge may have been broken. I find that odd since it worked perfectly up until the tanks were removed and it was their responsibility to maintain it to make sure it was working.
Needless to say, I doubt I will ever see any refund from this company and I doubt anyone else will either. This company nickel and dimes everything. They have the highest charges around and their delivery fee is over three times higher than the new company I'm going with. Just as Ellen A. stated, they will charge you for their mistakes. Do yourself a favor and save the headache, go with another company. A quick internet search can make you life so much easier.
