I think most of the people who leave bad reviews are the ones who thought they took care of a place, but unfortunately didn't. Graystone is a wonderful company full of kind people. I have rented from them for years. Vicki is a very nice, and understanding person. Not once have I ever had any issues with problems getting fixed. Reccomend 100%
Greystone has been amazing to rent from they are professional, kind, and helpful. Their rentals are beautiful and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend.
This company is a nightmare. I have been in contact with them, which by the looks of things is further than most can get. I would recommend staying away from these people. I have had issues all winter with discriminatory snow removal, literally 6 inches of ice from my parking to my door, which I was told by management to salt myself (why am I paying to rent when the upkeep is on me?) I fell twice and was told to salt better, while other buildings in the complex are cleaned dry to the pavement. We are subject to "inspections" TWICE PER MONTH, and any time they have to get any info to me they feel they are within their rights to enter my apartment and leave messages inside my apartment. I would say rent with EXTREME caution. Since this company has taken responsibility for my complex the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property has SEVERELY decreased, and the general uneasiness of having them come in when they see fit along with a general feel of what I can only describe as "being watched" have made me find a new home after almost 5 years in my unit.
My son and I have rented several places,with absolutely no problem,until we rented from Vikki at greystone mng.we have always gotten our full deposit back with no problem,had to leave early and break the lease,health and family problems,she said she would work with us,she extremely rude,and is not professional at all,taking them to court,thanks for other feedback as I will be using this in court!!
Please do not rent from these people. They are terrible landlords, if anything goes wrong with your apartment/duplex/house they will without a doubt take their sweet time to fix the problems or issues and they will also take all of your security deposit without question every single time you rent from them. They overcharge for pets and they're very sneaky about finding ways to make you pay for other things. A zero start review is exactly what they deserve.. But since I can't give that, I guess one start will do..
Terrible to rent from. They NEVER answer the phone when you call. They looked at, but never fixed, the leaking shower head. They never plowed or salted, which was a guaranteed service in our lease. The apartment was a mess when we moved in (nothing cleaned, literally hair left in the shower). We left the place spotless, yet they still billed us nearly $400 in "cleaning" charges.
Renting from them was OK. It was cheap. Repairs were done on a timely manner. They WILL, without a doubt, steal your security deposit. We were charged 175$ to mow the lawn a week and a half after we moved out and handed in our key. We mowed the lawn 2 days before we moved out. 100$ to clean a stove which was already cleaned. Another 150$ to clean carpets after we rented a carpet cleaner and went over the floors twice the evening before we handed in our key. Very frustrating.
This company is TERRIBLE!!! Not only do they never answer or return your phone calls, Vicki is EXTREMELY rude. We rented from this company for years, and every time we resigned they increased the rent substantially. When we first signed, our $150 pet fee was refundable, and then it when we resigned they began charging $25 a month for the dog and made my refundable fee, non-refundable. If anything was ever broken they took FOREVER to respond. To top it all off they took a HUGE chunk out of our security deposit for reasons that I would take them to court over and get my money back if I had the pictures to prove they are LIARS! I would never recommend them to anyone. Poor management and poor morals. I wish there was a below one star rating. @Tina H. We never once paid our rent or water late, and we were VERY respectful neighbors. We never once had an issue with our neighborhood... so maybe you should stop passing judgment on the other people rating this company because from where I see it, you are the minority on this topic.
All of the subsidized apartments I've lived in were advertised as being "TOBACCO - FREE", but not one of the Managers have done anything to enforce them. It basically boils down to getting the apartments filled & the Almighty Dollar.
Besides overcharging rent, they treat their renters horribly. They pride themselves on their 24 hour maintenance number, but when my dishwasher stopped working it took two months to get fixed. I was told that electricity costs were between 50 in summer and 90 in the winter. Baha, not even close. I was also not informed that you couldn't turn the fireplace off in the summer so all year it was 15$ a month no matter what even without turning it on. Avoid avoid avoid. Ahmc is a bunch a crooks that have no respect. Hopefully this review reaches you in time
