Thomas Video Studio

My family recently utilized the services at Thomas Video Studio in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Being in a large family, we are spread all over the country, but we hail from the Eau Claire area. For Christmas this year, we decided to have the 6000 feet of 8mm film and 20 VHS tapes converted to DVD in order to share these cherished memories with the entire family as well as preserve them.



I contacted Tom and Terry (the owners) via email to inquire about such a large order. After looking into using WalMart and Walgreens, we decided that the only way we would get this done is if it was done locally. The chances of our treasures getting lost in the mail was too much of a risk for us. Thomas Video Studio offered exceptional service that allowed us to keep the films out of the mail. Unlike the chain store services we looked in to, Thomas Video Studio returned the film in original (or better) condition than they received it. They didn't charge for blank space, and they didn't physically alter the films in any way. Our finished product was an organized, easy to follow set of DVDs, and original films returned exactly as we had delivered them.



I could honestly write a 10 page review on their courteous, prompt communication and super speedy services (they had the film done in 5 days - the week before Christmas!), but the bottom line is that if ANYONE asked me if I knew a place to have old home movies preserved, I would recommend this place enthusiastically every time.



Fast, reasonably priced, convenient and SUPER professional services. This studio far exceeded my expectations, and my family will be forever thankful!
