General Info
In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Eau Claire, WI is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

This was our first time coming and the service was really slow all in all I had the worst experience! I ordered a cheeseburger with no tomato, lettuce, or pickles and the guy brought it out with everything on it and I told him it was wrong so he took it back brought the cheeseburger back out within 2 minutes and he left and I opened the burger thinking that was to quick turns out he just took the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles off and you could taste it all and see the tomato seeds on the cheese. I was NOT happy I could have done that at the table. Very dissapointed and wont come back. It took my waitress a half an hour to come check on us and she asked if I needed a box and I said no my burger is nasty. So they just took the burger off the bill and that is it didn't ask if I wanted it remade or anything. Worst service and worst place to even attempt to eat at!

I do not recommend!!!

We called ahead on a Friday during the day around 3pm, a time we were considerate for because we knew it is usually slower business around that time before the dinner rush, it was my daughters birthday so I asked my server if she could sing for my daughter who just turned two, not only did she not sing, our food was cold, we simply got the soup & salad and our soup was very cold. She never checked up on us, she came back to drop off the check, horrible service. Worst place to celebrate a birthday, worst customer service and worse food I've ever tasted at a restaurant-- not recommended.

Fun atmosphere

TGI is a fun place to eat. Decor is enjoyable and fun. Wait staff is courteous. Bar tenders are enjoyable.
Prices reasonable. Portion size large. Lots of specials and deals offered on both food and drink.
I reccommend their deep fried green beans with dip. Yummy and original.
I like the high back booths....offers privacy.
Great place to get a bite to eat after a day of shopping. And a drink too.
