Bought a used 2009 Subaru Forester. Before buying the vehicle I asked Gary, the sales person, if there was anything wrong with the vehicle. He told me that the vehicle was checked out by their service tech for any problems and there weren't any. On the way home the Check Engine Light came on. Came back to the dealership the next day and found out that there was a code that was cleared on this vehicle. I later contacted the dealership by phone about this issue and was connected to Mike Keil. He informed me that the cars that are taken in and sold on their used lot are checked for any codes and they clear them. A code could come back, as mine did, or it may not. From talking to Mike about this issue, he told me that half of the vehicles on the road today have their Check Engine Light on and the issue I was having with the vehicle I bought was a "Luck of the Draw". Was also told by Mike that Rob from the used lot will contact me to resolve this problem. He never did. I bought a used vehicle knowing the condition of it by looking at it but was deceived with the issue of them clearing codes on their vehicles and hoping they don't come back on when sold. As the saying states "Let the Buyer Beware" hits home with this dealership.

I now feel like I can have some faith in a dealership because of my great experience.
