This restaurant is very clean and has been opened for a year they also have take-out.The service is so friendly that you feel right at home.Martha and Ramiro are great hosts and also owns the business. On Tue and Thur nites they have a Taco nite for $1.50.Most places have a taco nite but you can only get ground beef and the shells are so crisp that they explode when you eat them.NOT at Ramiro's the shells taste like you make at home.He has 7 selections of meat to chose from for his taco nite. Asada,Carnitas,Chicken,Shredded Beef,Pastor, Fish, and Ground Beef.If you want breakfast they serve both American and Mexican Specials. We like the deserts of course!!!The "Bunuelos" are favorites after eating dinner. Believe us you will like to return for more. Ramiro's Cocina Mexicana == Open 7 days a Week The Simpson Family 9418 Magnolia Ave 8:00am-8:00pm Joseph and Barbara Riverside,Calif 92503 Riverside,Calif

This is one fantastic place to eat, Met the owner Glenn and he was a very friendly and outgoing owner, not stuffy at all like your chain restruants. The place is clean and has great prices. I was impressed with the servers however the hostess we had named Ashley was outstanding, friendly, always smiling and made us feel like we were at home in the place. The servers were efficent, fast and also very friendly. This is a great place for the entire family or just a place to stop off and have a beer. I rate it a ten plus on my scale. In this same shopping center, are two other restruants I wont say who they are however the are not worth your time so stay away. try it you will like it.
This place won't win any awards for its outward appearances or their lack of decor. But if you want a decent meal for a decent price...you gotta at least give this place a try. To tell you the truth, I can't get past their burritos. That's all I order. Sort of like going to 31 Flavors and just getting vanilla everytime. I am usually in a hurry to get to my next location so I use the drive-thru. The burrito is just the ideal food for my situation. The seasonings and spices are just right. This place is behind the Chevron gas station.
I skipped the atmosphere because I am anxiously waiting for the new location to open. I have eaten here for 50 years, since a UCR student living in the east side "student ghetto" and mom and dad opened Zac's on University and Park. Now John and his family have upgraded the quality of ingredients while keeping the integrity of his mom's recipes. Can't figure out when it will open the new venue on Iowa (old Shakey's locale) or if it is still open on University. Want to go Wed night so hope I can find out by then.
Yoly's has the very best Queso fundido this side of east LA. Try the Queso fundido con rajas. Order it with a mango margarita and follow it with a molcajete de carnes, you will NOT be disappointed. The complimentary chips and salsa are very good also, at least 3 different salsas a fresh salsa, a grilled molcajete salsa and a Serrano chili avocado sauce that is deceptively hot. This restaurant has new management and should be tried again. It is soooo worth it.
This is by far, the best mexican food I have had the pleasure of having withing the I.E. Nothing compares to the quality, taste and price of my aunt's restaurant in Bellflower, CA, but here in Riverside/San Bernardino metro areas, this place is hands down best tasting! Service is exceptionally well too, they always seem to remember who you are no matter how little or how often you go.
Two Fridays ago I went at 930pm, went to the bar and asked the bartendet with the big tatas hanging out, for shots of mezcal. She ignored me. A guy came in with his wife and sister in law and also asked for a round of shots and she ignored them too. She was only interested in the four older gentlemen in front of her. Finally the tall white bald guy helped us and he was friendly.
We've been eating at Olivia's for over 30 years now! When I worked up by Tyler Mall, our office would have special occasion luncheons there also. The food has always been great, as has the service. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it! My husband and I ate there last night, and as always--it did not disappoint! I would definitely recommend trying Olivia's.
My wife and I have been eating at Olivia's for many years. The food has always been excellent and the service equally good. Authentic and excellent quality! We have never had a bad meal in all the years we have been eating there. I would recommend it as a "don't miss" and you will also be a fan!
