Overall

Have been a patient of Dr. Bill's for over 20yrs. now. I literally trust Dr. Bill with my life, as I am a heart patient. He listens attentively, explains everything in plain English and spends the time to make sure I understand his diagnosis. It is rare to find a doctor who actually realizes that my time is important also. I have rarely waited more than 10 minutes to be seen, and his office staff is helpful and accommodating. I have highly recommend Dr. Bill to family and friends.

Both my father and I were patients of Dr. Bill in the 1990's. I had seen 3 Neurologists, specialists in their field, that could not help me with a problem I had with vertigo (dizziness) and a tremor. They had "guessed" early Parkinsons to Tourettes. None of them were any help. Upon seeing Dr. Bill due to needing a general practicioner, on my first visit he prescribed a medication that took care of ALL my symptoms within 3 days. I have always been grateful for his diagnosis and help. If I had not moved from the area, I would still be seeing him as my doctor.

Stay away from Dr. Gary Bills; he's the worst

After reviewing the Guidelines, I am restricted in what I'd like to say about Dr. Gary Bills, which is too bad for people considering becoming his patients. I've known good doctors who were not only competent, but had good business sense, including professionalism and good people skills. DR. BILLS HAS NEITHER! From my own experiences, I can say without exaggeration Dr. Bills is a terrible listener, he is argumentative, prone to acting like a child and worse (e.g., making sneering faces, flipping the bird with both hands, gesturing like a monkey... and I've witnessed this as he did so in front of his office staff, who were quite embarrassed but too terrified to do anything for fear of jeopardizing their jobs). Dr. Bills' office manager (presumably his wife, girlfriend) has ZERO sense and is equally unprofessional, completely disrespectful for my rights as a patient. Some doctors are open minded and listen to their patients. However, Dr. Bill was close-minded, refusing to listen to what I had to say and formulated his opinion so vehemently that he would get angry if you dared to question what he said. Indeed, after he gave me advice for treatment, I questioned this, and he instantly decided he could no longer see/treat me. I later was able to see my regular doctor who had been out town, and he agreed that Dr. Bill's advice was not only wrong, but careless and inattentive. In addition, when it came time to request a copy of my records, Dr. Bill's OM actually put them in an envelope and taped them OUTSIDE the building for me to pick up, so that any kid on a bicycle could have run off with it. In addition, both Dr. Bills and his officer manager have zero integrity and they would not think twice before distorting the facts of a situation--that's right, lying and misstating things (such as dates) to cover up their incompetence. So, if you care about your health, your rights as a patient, your dignity as a human being, STAY AWAY FROM Dr. Gary Bills of Eastpointe!
