Don't bother going there if you need any "employee assistance, or help" because they are extremly RUDE and NOT willing to even try to help you at all!!! At least not in the outdoor/patio/garden area of the store! All I did was ask them if they could special order something for me that I was looking for since they already carried that particular procuct line...they acted like I was speaking another language! Started asking each other and NO ONE knew the answer. Said they'd call me the next morning and let me know...I KNEW they had NO intention of ever calling me back....so I called them the next afternoon....VERY RUDE AGAIN! NO explanation of why they never called me back. Still no answer for me on special ordering a lawn and garden ornament for me. Of a product line that they have right there on display in the store! They do not want to work....don't want to be bothered with anything...they just want to socialize among themselves while getting paid for it and if anyone interferes with that they will give you ATTITUDE! I guess I will take my buisness somewhere else. A shame, because I do normally like Boscovs...I guess it's only good if you don't need any help from any employees while shopping there.....GOOD LUCK if you need them for ANYTHING! I even called customer service regarding this matter, and they sent me right back to lawn and garden where I got NO HELP and MAJOR ATTITUDE again!!!!!

this web site store looked like a god send.but turned out to be more like the devil! ipurchased well over 200.00 dollars in merchandise, for which they immediately put a hold on my card for. they do explain this on their site , what they dont say is thier hinky accounting practices.they already charged my account like a hotel hold on your card. now they start shipping items one or two things at a time(i.e showercurtain and a set of sheets came in two boxes.)and as they ship they charge your card. !!!!! yes i know i call it double charge. they also qouted me thru their system a ONE TIME shipping fee, of 19.00 dollars. i chose this store because i was moving into an old house and needed alot of mini blinds. once i started receiving my order, longer than the 7-10 business days they qoute you. they called to say they needed to charge me an addittional shipping fee of 13.50. needless to say i was hot ! called and argued and won but barely. leson learned, read reviews of websites 1st then purchase. with the economy in such shape sellers beware! if u dont deliver on your promises u will join ALL THE OTHER STORES IN GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE!!!!!!

The only thing I ever bought from Boscovs, other than a purse or two, was living room furniture. I have to say that the experience was pleasant and easy. The delivery was not as prompt as I would have liked it, however, it was shortly after 9-11 and i believe customs delays may have played a large role in that, the furniture having come from Italy. The first set i ordered, would not fit through my front door, and Boscovs was very generous and helpful in aiding me in selecting the right size and type of furniture that I needed, as well as taking into consideration comfort and our tastes in styles. All in all, the experience was very pleasant. By the way, before this, I never knew that the store carried furniture, and had looked everywhere but there. I found out by accident, and am glad i did!
