I came in with severe tooth pain and apparently there is nothing wrong with the tooth. I was given a scrip for an antibiotic for a gum infection and told to see a gum Dr. or my GP. I feel much better since taking the antibiotic. I was not "sold a bill of goods" and everyone i encountered offered advice and help. To top it off they said I could come back the next day for a 2nd opinion if I wished and they didn't even charge me a dime! Aspen is my dentist from now on and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.
After going to them for an initial exam, xrays and to have some cavities filled, I started to question their business practices. The staff (assistants and hygienists) were pleasant and had no problems starting conversation and asking me the basic "getting to know you" questions.
The dentist (I never saw the same one) for the most part was nice. One was really abrupt and couldn't wait to get me out of his chair. It was a bit unsettling but I thought he was just busy that day.
What made me question this business (and I hear it from other people who have been to Aspen) was on my way out of a cavity procedure, I was told to stop by the office and speak with the office manager. During my exam and cavity prep, the dentist and assistant talked in hushed tones and when I would ask what they were talking about I got "you have a lot of issues with your mouth, I don't know how your other dentist passed over these issues." They wouldn't go into detail. HELLO?! Isn't that WHY I come to you? For advice...right?!
I went in to see the office manager and was informed that I needed $3,000 worth of work. Including a root canal and scaling because at 28 years old I have periodontal disease and gingivitis. She then proceeded to tell me that she would take the payment for the root canal NOW, and told me next week they can fit me into the schedule and I should take off work.
She was pushy and when I said I didn't have the $2,000 for a root canal (single mom, not getting child support, working for a living), I asked if I could put $300 down and make monthly payments. She told me all money was required up front and maybe I can call my parents or a "well off family member" to help me out.
I thanked her for her time and left with the papers. They called me for a week straight trying to schedule this root canal. I was livid.
I am currently seeing another dentist who has informed me that I do NOT have periodontal disease, all I needed was a really good cleaning and that I need to start using a Sonicare toothbrush daily. If it stopped there, I would not be writing this review...that's not the worst.
The worst part, ALL of my fillings from Aspen, need to be redone. After looking at x-rays, there are fillings that are "leaking," there are fillings that are "overhanging my tooth (causing floss to snag and snap), ALL the fillings are BOX shaped there is NO tooth anatomy what-so-ever to them. We are talking about 6 fillings that need to be re-done.
They DON'T care about patient quality. All they care about is getting you in the chair, taking your money and "selling" you things you DON'T need!! I have NEVER been more livid in all my life.
So if you have actually read this entire review, because like I said if I give a POOR review I will explain why...you are probably thinking, "well her new dentist is just trying to sell her new fillings so she has to pay him! It's the same thing!"
Actually it's not. After I went to Aspen and had this experience, I started dental school. As I was learning the different processes and procedures and what you should and shouldn't do...all I could think to myself was "Aspen never did this...Aspen never did that...."
It was confirmed TODAY at my first appointment with my new employer (who has a MAJOR influence on the Dental Community within Lehigh Valley) that my mouth is awful and he needs to re-do EVERYTHING Aspen did.
I would give this place 0 stars but it won't let me...reasons to recap?

Hands down the best dentist office I've ever been to. Like everyone else I was apprehensive to go to a dentist especially with my bad teeth but all of the staff was friendly and comforting. Dr Chadha is hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. When it came time to do my teeth he made sure I felt no pain. I have the best smile I've had in years.
Let me start by saying I’m dental phobic, needle-phobic, and white lab coat phobic! I can honestly say that Aspen Dental treated me very well and eased many of my fears. The dentist there is so understanding and put me at ease. I’m really not an easy patient to work on and at one point I thought I was going to pass out…due to my own anxiety. It had nothing to do with the dentist’s treatment. The dentist knew exactly what to do. Both the dentist and the assistant were able to make me feel better and ease my fears. They have restored my faith in dentistry and next time I need a filling I will be able to do it so much easier. I can’t say enough about how comfortable the entire staff made me or how compassionate and understanding the dentist was to me. I can also say that my experience was pain free!!
Very pleased that I brought my son to Aspen Dental. They provided him with an exemplary level of care, and by being extremely caring and compassionate they were able to get him to behave beyond my expectations in a dental setting. The dental assistant, Dawn, was very patient taking x-rays on my very active, and at times difficult four year old. Her patience with him seemed to outdo mine. That was truly impressive!! The doctor that we saw was very patient and kind. She was phenomenal at working with children, although she is not a pediatric specialist. We were pleased with every aspect of the office: the warm greeting at the reception area, the overall cleanliness of the office, the friendly attitude of the assistants, and the compassionate, capable doctors. I would highly recommend this office to anyone of any age who is in need of dental care.

I took my mother in law as a new patient. She is almost 89 years old, God Bless her..... she was treated so well, with kindness, care and compassion. I can't say enough about Dr. S. and Samantha. They were both just wonderful. The support people at the front desk also treated my mother-in-law with respect and dignity. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to all of you, especially because of the very kind care that we received.
My pleasurable experience began the minute I walked in the front door as I was greeted by the kind receptionist. The courteous and cheerful staff were able to put me at ease because, let's be honest, going to the dentist usually isn't at the top of people’s list of things to do, especially when you have teeth like I did. If you are in need of a dentist...don't look any further!!!
The medical staff was nice and the dentist was also nice. The personnel that processes the insurance was horrible! They over charged me and then claimed that my insurance was the one that wasn't paying. I had the insurance co call them while i was on the phone with them and then the story changed. Everytime i went in they processed the insurance wrong. The only reason i did go back there again was because I didn't have a choice insurance wise. If you do go there make sure you check your statement and make sure it matches what your insurance is willing to pay!
