We purchased a used car at this dealership, had a series of issues that should have never happened, the issues were rectified but nothing was offered for our aggravation like some gesture of goodwill to change our perception from a negative experience to a positive one. When I posted a fair and honest review on another site the sales manager called me with the sole purpose of chewing me out for that review. He was incredibly rude, condescending, somewhat threatening and then called me a classless person. I was beyond shocked. This is absurd behavior and is completely unacceptable from a business I just dropped $24k with. Never buy a car here unless you want to be screwed around with and then verbally assaulted.
This place is horrible. (0 STARS wasn't an option)The price on the internet was suddenly reflective of a $3,000 down payment, once I expressed interest in the car. I talked them down to within $1,000 of the "posted" price and bought the car, because my daugter liked it. Since then, we have had multiple issues with the car, which they either knew about and chose to ignore, or weren't thorough enough in their inspection of the car before putting it up for sale. They did fix one issue, but I had to leave the car back in RI for several days. The next issue they ignored and still have not bothered to respond to a certified letter I sent them. Totally unprofessional. Really scummy place.
One star rating is one star too many! Worst car buying experience in my life. Did not purchase from here after all of the crap they put us through. Word of advice, follow through on promises. If you say you will call us back, call us back. If we are put on hold, pick up the phone instead of hanging up. If you say "you are approved for this car," don't change a few days later. We even agreed to pay the down payment requested by the bank and then was denied again anyways because of the type of car. Yet, we were offered another car exactly like that car. Makes no sense. We dealt with different salespeople each time we stopped in to work on our "buying experience." Eventually, we were working with the "manager" which was to no avail. I had high hopes for this business. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
DO NOT GO HERE. I thought they seemed so nice, until I bought a car from them and tried to get them to fix the transmission leak we found the next day after bringing the car home. They have done everything to get out of honoring this warranty, including refusing to acknowledge there is problem (had it looked at today and the dealer we brought it to found not one, but two leaks in the transmission - which will cost $1100 to repair), basically telling us we are lying, refusing to give us any signed documentation when we brought the car in just 72 hours after purchasing, and then again a week later, and lying. The owner, Tony, is not an honest business man. This place is a scam. Please, take your business elsewhere. TO update our dealings w/ this company - they get away with this because of their refusal to give documentation - which is ILLEGAL, however, they seem to get away w/ it, again and again. Anybody who wishes to file a lawsuit against them, please feel free to contact me.
this place is AWFUL!! STAY AWAY!! they sold me a car with next to no oil in it lucky i caught it and it didnt blow up, check engine light came on the night i brought it home, and 6 days into owning it for no apparent reason on my way home from work at 3am the cv axle snapped....would not give me any documentation on the $1200 warranty i purchased..im sorry that they just added on my loan....STAY AWAY!! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!
NOT EVEN STAR THEY DESERVE. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. I REGRET 100+ GOING TO THIS PLACE. THEY ARE THE WORSE EVER. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR 6 WEEKS AND IT HAS BEEN EXCUSES AFTER EXCUSES. I GOT BLACKMAILED INTO THE CAR THAT I HAVE, WHICH IS A JUNK OF A CAR FOR THE MONEY NOW THAT I HAVE TO PAY. I AS WELL MADE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM TO THE BOARD OF DEALER'S LICENSE AT THE DMV AND GOING TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS PLACE. TOTALLY DISLIKE THEM. THEY ARE SO RUDE AND LIERS. I AM SO UPSET WISH I CAN SUE THEM. NO STARS, NO STARS, NO STARS. UGHHHHHHHHHH. I REALLY WISH THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR GOOD AT LEAST HERE IN RHODE ISLAND. ps SO I CAN POST THIS ADD HAD TO GIVE THEM A STAR BUT THEY DON'T DESERVE ONE.
I wouldn't even give them one star, absolutely the worst people I ever dealt with sold me a total lemon. Stay away you are better off flushing your money down the toilet. I bought a car for my daughter car broke down the day I took it home and over the first 3 months she was stranded 4 times. The Transmission was bad and they new it, they had it fixed a second time then guess what the car was 100 miles over the warranty and the transmission went AGAIN!!! The car has been nothing but problems and when I tried to talk to them their punk of a sales man who lied to me a dozen times was no help. This place should be closed down!!
I went to this dealer based on a recommendation from my brother. I bought a 2004 Hyndai Santa Fe. The car handled poorly on the test drive and the brakes were grinding. It went right back to the lot. My salesperson Bob assured me the car would be fixed upon my pick up on Friday, if I wanted it. I was told the vehicle would be ready the next day, but at 3:45 was that the back brakes and tires were being replaced and I would need to wait until Saturday. I arrived an hour after my pick up time only to discover the car was still not ready. After an additional 1 hour wait I rece'd the key to the car and told the salesperson I needed to test drive it. He agreed but the drive last 5 minutes because he needed to get back to more customers. The steering still did not feel right. I took it home and had ny boyfriend drive it to confirm and sure enough the front end still was not right, I took it right back to the dealer and was told I would need to wait to make arrangements to have it worked on. This happened three times. I had just bought a car and had to get several rides to work in the first two weeks. The "brakes" were worked on 3 times 1 strut at a time was replaced and 1 ball joint. AFTER I took it to my mechanic to confirm it had issues. I was only given one key and the following weekend realized the key only opened the drivers side door. I was told not my problem we only fix safety issues. And the $200.00 referral my brother was supposed to receive has been sitting on the "KIngs" desk for over two weeks waiting for a signature. I would advise anyone that is looking for a used car if at all possible go to a "REAL" dealer.
