Overall

I have been using Hankle for over 20 years and always found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought all my trim and floors there

Overall

Basically received the run-around in my experience with Hankle Lumber,

Upon inquiring about scheduling a delivery a couple times, they said they'd call back; to which they never did.



Finally on the third attempt I was able to have a delivery date set and called the morning of the "delivery" to confirm that everything was good to go. "Sometime between 4:00 and 4:30" was the word received by the person working the phones. Waited until 6:00, with no luck, not even a courtesy call from them to explain that they wouldn't be able to make it.



Upon calling them the next morning, the excuses were readily available without even an apology. "The roads were bad", "The driver said he tried calling you". I guess a slight wind that day not only made the roads horrible, but also wiped out all the phone reception in the area? We may never know.



Even after all of this, he said that they would contact me when they were able to deliver. Needless to say, I'm not holding my breath.

It's bad enough being made out to be an inconvenience as a paying customer. Much less being strung along and lied to with no credibility to account for. At least have the decency to tell someone if you can't fufill their request as a potential customer.



I will be giving my hard-earned money to a company that actually wants it.
