The Lodges of East Lansing

Don't go for this! Not even Poor-Fair. It's seriously POOR!.

1. Managers are so rude. At the first several days, there are garbage bins near each unit. But they removed all of them expcet the one near the car exit way, which is really far from most units. We tried to email those managers to talk about this. We said that we have to walk such a long way without those garbage bins. They just replied like " we have to reduce the cost. Then you have to walk it". They never tried to say something gently.

2. Walls are so thin that you could even easily hear the guy next door washing his hands.

3. They will charge you some rediculous fees. My roommate unintentionally lost his receipt from Western Union (maybe dropped when he left his car). They found it somewhere and charged him $50 for "throw trash on the ground".

4. Did not mention there's a railroad just beside unit 6*** (about 20 meters away?). They even hide the railroad on the map in their office. We want to choose a quiet place, so we picked unit 6. But that frequently passed train was like a nightmare. Some of the trains even whistle when they pass through. And about 7-12 trains per day, 24 hrs each day for 7 days per week. Seriously, it's not funny at all.

5. The aircondition, cloth-washing machine and dish-washing machine are terrible. They work like crazy with extremely huge sound, especially the A/C. You have to try the sound of A/C before you sigh the lease. You will never know how terrible the A/C could be before you try Lodges' A/C!

Now, lets talk something good. The only good thing I can come up with is the fitness center and the study room with computers. They got printers, coffee machine and ice for you there. And the swimming pool is cool.

But you are finding somewhere to live, right? So consider about those terrible problems first. If you could endure those problems, then you could enjoy these good stuffs.
