The food is fantastic! I usually go there for dinner. You get fresh pita rolls with every meal, plus you get a choice of soup or salad. The Lentil soup is fabilous. The hummus is great! Service is always prompt and attentive. You get very generous portions of everything, so there's always some to take home and enjoy tomorrow! Lunch specials and prices are very reasonable. Try it!

It's been well over 5 years since my last meal at Sultan's, and from what I could remember back then it was a pretty good overall experience. We passed over Woody's Oasis to go to a nice sit-down place w/ more room. At this visit they were short staffed (1 waiter) but we were eventually seated. The waiter was quite stressed, so we made sure to order promptly and asap.
In trying to do too many things at once, the waiter brought over several glasses of water (for 2 tables) and inadvertantly spilled the tray w/ 4 glasses of ice water all over the floor and table. That, however, wasn't the reason for the below average rating. I ordered the Lamb Kabob sandwich (in pita) - - but after several bites it was obvious that I was given beef instead of lamb. My friends sampled the meat and agreed that it did not possess the distinct lamb taste, and very much tasted like beef.
I then addressed this w/ the waiter, who at first said ""no, the beef and lamb are separated and you have lamb"" (huh?) at which I did not appreciate his response. After realizing how he had somewhat offended me by discounting my perfectly working taste buds he then asked me what I wanted to do, at which I replied: ""all I want is lamb, which is why I came here in the 1st place"". His response: ""that is lamb, however, if you're not happy w/ it then I will take it off the bill"". I told him that this meat tasted fine and was worth the pay, but it was not what I had asked for. He said he would go back and ask the cook (what good would that do?). We tried the meat again - - and we ALL concluded that it was BEEF. The waiter came back w/o any feedback at which I asserted again to him: ""the cook must have made a mistake, this is beef - not lamb"". All he did was say ""I'm sorry, but it is lamb, and I will take it off of the bill"".
WTF? I may go back here - but never ever for lamb!
