Pediatric Care
Welcome to East Haven Pediatrics PC. We are dedicated to serving our community by providing professional and compassionate medical care and support to our patients and their families. We believe that a small practice means more personal care. It is exciting and satisfying to us that we have a growing number of second-generation patients in our practice.
Emergency Care
In the event we direct you to take your child to the Emergency Department, we will send you to the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital for the best local pediatric care.
Immunizations
We sincerely look forward to working with you and your family to keep your child(ren) and young adult(s) healthy from birth to 21 years old. This includes pre-natal visits, well-baby care with all necessary age-appropriate immunizations, annual physical examinations, treatment of acute or chronic medical problems and evaluation of emotional, behavioral and educational problems. We provide the majority of this care in our Main Street office. We also maintain hospital privileges at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital.

Autism
Our team believes that all the vaccines we use are effective and safe or we wouldn't require them. Any minor risk of side effects from vaccines is greatly outweighed by the protective effect they have against potentially devastating illnesses for the individual and their community. Vaccines must meet the highest standards of safety. Multiple medical studies performed by reputable organizations and laboratories fail to show any correlation between vaccines and autism or other developmental problems.

Mental Health
As your child grows older, we continue to monitor their physical growth, but also seek to make sure they are developing in healthy ways socially, emotionally, behaviorally and psychologically. We are happy to refer you to a mental health practitioner when needed.
Behavioral Health

Chemotherapy
Our new policy has been implemented for a number of reasons. The American Academy of Pediatrics strongly endorses universal immunization. Unimmunized children pose a risk to other children who lack immunity to vaccine preventable infections (ex. unimmunized infants, immunocompromised children, children undergoing chemotherapy). In addition, the State of Connecticut mandates vaccination for children who attend daycare or public schools.
