DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO PARK YOUR CAR. I checked-in to the Laguardia before a trip and did a vehicle intake inspection with a female employee with whom I encircled the car looking for preexisting damage; there were a few scratches which I noted and I signed the ticket and went to the airport. When went to get my car the guy pulls it up and before even handing me the key, says"you know the driver's door is busted, right?" I flipped out and the guy then proceeded to treat me like an idiot and kept saying that I "must have known," because, according to him, the damage was cataloged on the intake ticket, and I had signed the ticket. I said "absolutely no way, you have got to be kidding me," at which point I went to inspect the door and the guy went inside. I took a look at the door and saw that the side of the door where it latches onto the body of the car was completely loose and dented, and that pieces of the latching frame were missing – the door wasn’t latching and the battery was dead. The guy kept just repeating the phrase"Sir, all I know is the damage is listed on the ticket, and you signed the ticket." Sure enough this guy shows me ticket the original ticket which had been CLEARLY altered and NOW contained the words "THE DOOR DON’T CLOSE WELL,” in different handwriting which was an understatement because the door did not close at all!!! I said to the guy are you frigging kidding me? He just kept saying, over and over again, "sir, all I know is that you signed the ticket, and it is listed on the ticket, there is nothing I can do except fill out this incident report," talking to me like an idiot. I ended up just storming out and driving home on the LIE with my arm out the window holding the door shut!!! I got home and immediately e-mailed the location's GM so that I could contemporaneously report the incident without forgetting exactly what happened. The guy was so rude and unapologetic that I was besides myself, I felt like crying. He basically said it was too bad and there was nothing he could do and would just submit the claim to insurance and they would handle it. He also gave me some BS that he could not check any security cameras because they were all "broken." I brought the car to the mechanic and he said he had never seen anything like it (his report is also attached hereto). He said the driver's side door's inner latch was hanging and all of the screws which ensures the door snaps into place were missing; in addition, the car door was not opening from the outside handle. According to the mechanic, the screws that were missing were special Mazda-specific screws; he further informed me that they are not the type of thing that would just fall out, but were special "torx head screws" which required a special "torx tool" to remove. In addition, he stated that there was no chance ALL THREE special Mazda door screws could be missing, and that based on the totality of the circumstances, it was patently clear somebody had stripped the screws. All in all the mechanics bill was about $500!!!! I gave the bill to the General Manager and he kept ignoring me, all he kept doing was protecting his guys who stole my screws and messed up my car. It got so bad that I ended up calling the cops.
