Comfortable and reasonable

We stayed in this hotel for two nights while we attended a youth athletic event, and were very comfortable. The mattresses had pillow tops which were soft, but not plush. I prefer this as too soft a feel has led to poorer sleep in the past. This was just right. The room had an updated feel and was clean. We were especially impressed with the free breakfast. It wasn't the typical continental breakfast, but offered hot food (scrambled and fried eggs, pancakes, and sausage). Another coach was in a more expensive hotel in New Brunswick that didn't offer any breakfast! The only down side to breakfast is that it starts at 7 on the weekends. We had to eat quickly in order to get to our function on time. A 6, or 6:30 start would've been nice. Check in and check out were quick and easy, and the staff were friendly. I'd have no qualms about staying here again if I ever need to overnight in the area.

a good motel for a low price

We stayed at the McIntosh Inn the night before a day trip to NYC. We arrived late, so even if we had amenities like a pool, we wouldn't have used them.

The room was fine, the grounds were OK and the service was good. All in all, a good night's sleep for $60.00. We were a little concerned about the lumpy bed, but we both slept fine. We could have used a few extra towels and pillows however.
