The new management, JP Taylor LLC/JP Management, is TERRIBLE!! They do not have a direct deposit function to collect rent and depend on receipt of physical checks. Moreover, they sue tenants if they don't find rent checks themselves. Recently they cashed my check but sued me for not paying because their system made an error. I understand system makes errors, but isn't the management supposed to double check before they send tenants' names to the court, damaging people's credit? How hard is it to just call me to confirm? In the following month, I had to call to ensure they receive my check so they don't sue me again. They did NOT receive the check and I sent a second check, which was delayed due to holiday. Their main office staff asked me to overnight the check at my own expense and suggested me doing so going forward. I suggest JP Management to setting up a direct deposit but she said it’s too expensive for the landlord. Well, isn’t it expensive and inconvenient for all of your tenants to go to post office and pay extra for overnight just so that you can collect your money? As a landlord, are you supposed to make it easy for your customer to pay? Seriously disappointing Management and highly unlikely to renew with them.
