The food is good. However, one of the waitresses is extremely rude: Older lady, early 50?s, kind of heavy, tall with short dark brown hair.
I will definitely never going back there!!! It was an awful experience.
I went to accompany my friend to have lunch at Jeveli?s last Saturday 9/20/08. Our waitress was really nice but we hardly saw her. My friend wanted to order a Sprite but she left so quickly after delivering us the food so he didn?t get the chance to ask her. About 10 minutes later, another waitress passed by (the rude lady with brown hair), and we said ""excuse me, could we please order a glass of Sprite?""
She stopped, turned her head back and paused for about 15 second and looked at us with a very cold expression and did not say anything!...she was VERY rude?.a very awkward moment?the way she looked at us is as if we don?t deserve to be there?
I was so in shock of how we were treated. We waited about another 15 minutes and my friend was about to finish with his meal and still no one come to serve us. The restaurant was not busy at all at the time. There were probably only about 4 or 5 tables were being served including us, with 2 or 3 party of people on each table.
My friend decided that he wants to speak to the manager about the rude behavior. He stood up and walked to the host table. Realizing what was happening; the rude waitress immediately brought the soda and act so friendly, I almost couldn?t recognize her with the totally opposite attitude. It is unbelievable how people can be so fake.
I am not sure but I have the feeling it had something to do with racism. I can not believe people could do such a horrible thing.

Long an East Boston institution they offer an array of choices from Italian to seafood and burgers. The dining room has suffered of late as they move towards a one-size fits all that has seen some traditional Italian favourites leave the menu like the braciole. Service is always friendly and prompt. The small bar room off to the side is well populated with local airline workers. The place is so airline friendly (there is a great mural of airliners in the bar) that the local airport authority employee shuttle between the airport and the employee parking facilites has made this restaurant a stop. That says good things about the food and the strength of the drinks. President Clinton dined there during his adminstration and part of the dining room was redecorated to acknowledge that honor. Pretty cool that a busines owner would do that -- so there is a Presidential Dining Suite to go along with your stay in your hotel Presidential Suite! The waitstaff will help you decide what to order -- they know what they are talking about -- ask and listen to them. You can't go wrong. The value these days is not what it used to be a sort time back - but still strong food and drink.

we went to jeveli's because it was near the motel where friends were staying the night before the marathon. it was a good thing the hotel shuttle dropped us off because parking is an issue. i had made a reservation but it wasn't noted in the book - i didn't have much faith in the guy who took my information and i should have called back to confirm. it wasn't a problem though and we were seated right away. the place isn't fancy, but its attractive and clean. we had a carafe of the house red which was great and shared the anitpasti which was fantastic - very tasty meats, cheeses, olives, in a tangy dressing. we didn't really need the antipasti though since our dinners came with salads (and not teeny little side salads either!), but it was well worth it. 3 of us had pasta dishes and 1 had a baked stuffed fish. everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. the prices were extremely reasonable!! $12-14 on average i think. our waitress was very friendly and accomodating and we're glad we listened to her and ordered cannoli for dessert. an overall great dining experience.
