I have taken my bichon poo to Love Your Dog for grooming for years now. I have always been satisfied and quite frankly thrilled with my dog when she is presented to me at the end of her session!!! Although Juneau has had a variety of groomers over the years I am always satisfied with the results ... My dog actually looks forward to going and willingly goes back with the groomer who comes out personally to greet me and my four legged friend!! I am so impressed with the polite , caring and superb service that I get here and no matter who grooms her I know she is well taken care of and they always listen too me when I give specific instructions !!!! That to me is most important .... LOVE LOVE LOVE❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ YOUR DOG and so will you .... Give them a try
I am new to the area and was looking for a place I could take my dog while I worked to burn some much needed energy. My dad used to take her to the dog park for me while I worked but after a couple times, it became to stressful. Too many out of control dogs frequent many of the dog parks and you are constantly on alert if your dog is going to get attacked. I heard through a friend about Love Your Dog and their daycare service and thought that I would give it a try. I was more than impressed. The first thing that I noticed is how welcoming the staff was. They greeted my dog like it was their own, making her feel right at home. They then evaluated my dog (she passed with flying colors) which gave me comfort. I know that the dogs my baby are interacting with are absolutely dog friendly, taking away the stress I felt from the dog park. Best of all, after my dogs first full day of daycare she was tired from all the playing and had this look of joy to her that made my heart melt. I highly recommend this place for daycare or boarding.
n regards to the grooming service they provide, I am finally throwing in the towel! I have been taking my great pyrenese here for 2 years, when he first started going to Love Your Dog, Lisa the groomer took great care of him and he always looked great. Last year they had an incident where they accidentally ripped out his dew claw and he was bleeding all over. I tried to be very understanding, accidents happen, but they didn't even follow up with me to see how he was doing. I was still charged $240 and I had to pay for the emergency trip to the vets.( Lisa left Love Your Dog , I wish I knew where she was working so I could take my dog to her for grooming. ) I rescued a great pyr puppy last year and he was badly matted and need to be shaved down, so of course I took him to Love your dog hoping that everything would be great. 7 hours later and $220 was not great!! Just today I took my older great pyr in for grooming, 6 hours later and $240 and he was only half groomed! He looked ridiculous! I dropped him off at 9am, they called at 3 pm that he was done, I paid and he came out looking almost as bad as he went in. They said they ran out of time! I don't know who is running this business but they need to take a close look at what is going on, I definitely will not be returning with my dogs!
Great place! We took 2 extremely small yorkies for obedience training and had exactly the opposite experience as the Bichon owner, perhaps there's two sides to this story. Everyone there loves all the dogs in class and all were treated equally. Janice is exceptional in that she did not attempt to force anything on the little ones as to not scare them. Our dogs came away with an awesome experience.
This instrulcter apparently did not like me and/or my dog. I spent a lot of money from my social security check to get my dog trained and was ignored. For example, the last saturday I was there she handed out white envelopes to all the people there except me. I did not know what was in the envelope nor do I care. She also handed out printed instructions from that weeks class but left me out. Take your dog to someone who cares. She also kept calling my dog a rescue dog. He was purchased from a Bishon breeder..

Mae Belle was a mess. She is a quintessential black lab waiting for my direction to begin. Classes were appealing but my discipline was lacking. My Vet recommended Love That Dog and I arranged ""at home"" training with Janice. Accountability to follow through at home was pressure enough knowing Janice would be back the following week. Mae Belle received total loving care and attention, I received validation and reinforcement for all my hard work. I felt less of a bad owner and more of a responsible mommy. Mae Belle and I are living happily ever after.

Signed up for 6 puppy classes = $160 but had to drop out after the second one. The instructor was vulgar, shouted, and had no control of the class. People bring their little kids with them to help then train their dog but the kids walk all over distracting other dogs and their owners. A complete waste of money and you dont get a refund.
