I first want to say that I've bought numerous cars over my life, and this is the first time I have ever been so shocked at how horrible I was treated. I submitted an inquiry on a truck this dealership had in stock. I was contacted shortly after by text, and texted back and forth with a sales representative. I had given the rep all my info and what i was looking to do. The next day I still had not recieved a call yet. So after I got off work, I called the dealership. I had no clue that they closed at 8, but someone answered the phone. I explained to him my situation, and he immediately cut me off and asked why I wasn't buying at a dealer in my city. Seriously???!!! I started to explain, and he again cut me off saying "have a good night sir" and hung up. I am trying to buy something from you! I am shocked you would treat a potential customer like that. STAY AWAY. If you are local to this dealership in would look else where. After reading other reviews it seems like poor customer service and rudeness is a common practice here. I will be taking my business to one of the other 15 Ford dealers within my area.
At this writing, I'm sitting in the service lounge. After booking an appointment a week prior, I am told that a "diagnostic fee" would apply to fix a very obvious windshield leak. 1 hour later after a regular service, sans attempting to locate the problem, I am still here. I would not recommend using this place anymore.

Our daughter bought a Pre-Owned 2006 Prius in Mid-October 2015. Before her first loan payment was even drafted in November, the Prius died. It is in her driveway DEAD only 5 weeks after purchase.
Before it totally died, 4 weeks after purchasing it from Benson Ford all the lights went off to be serviced. She took it to a local service that told her the battery would need replacing because it was worthless. To the tune of $3000. Just the battery. When she called Benson to find out why she was sold a car that had cleared for sale, yet clearly did not have a good battery, she was told that they don't have a technician that is qualified to check hybrids. Yet the sales sheet clearly states 'battery replaced'. Evidently to the Benson Dealership, the words 'battery replaced' didn't clarify that it was replaced with a faulty, dying one. Plus no one there is qualified to even check it so how on earth could they clear it.
They REFUSE to offer replacing the hybrid battery.
Benson now will be removed from the USAA Preferred Dealership List due to the complaint being filed with USAA because of this matter (which is why she went to them in the first place). My daughter's attorney is currently taking action against Benson Ford for replacement of the battery.
If they will replace the battery as was stated in the sales slip with ONE THAT WORKS I will remove this review and we will remove our complaint from USAA. We know that USAA sales make up about 30% of the business of a dealership if they are on the Preferred Dealer list - so it would be smart not to lose 30% of your sales. It's also smart to accept replacing a battery rather than going through legal battle or losing USAA referred sales.
But, I just read the other reviews... maybe they aren't that smart at Benson Ford to offer good customer service like that.
Purchased a car, had a satchel which they wrote a we owe to have it fixed. It wasn't fixed correct but was told that it was an used car to expect imperfections. Headrest missing in back seat but was told I would get then soon, its been 4 months and haven't received them yet. Wouldn't recommend dealer.

Have a mechanic and body shop go over any used car you are planning to purchase from Benson. They are the nicest people you will ever deal with prior the sell! BUT after that you are screwed if you find any problems! Its your car then and they could careless. I will never buy another car from Benson and plan to discourage everyone I come in contact with. Word of mouth is the best advertisement money can't buy!

Went to Benson Nissan Easley SC. Walked in and ask for the phone number for Nissan of Greer, SC. The man (older with graying hair) said we do not have that number. He then ask me why I needed it. I told him there was a car I was interested in buying. He said hold on a minute. He returns a second later I assumded with the phone number for the Nissan (lets face it they do transfer cars from Nissan to Nissan dealership). He then comes back with a man in a pink Ralph Lauren shirt. This man asks me what I need, I explained to him that Nissan of greer had a car I was intersted in and about the sale. He then trys to tell me that the sale I had heard on the radio was false. (NOt SO I heard it again on 102.5 about 20 minutes later on my way to Nissan Of Greer after calling information for the number)! I explained I has just heard it 10 minutes before, He then trys to make me look stupid by saying that the dealership only had that offer on a Titan. I explained to him it was in fact a Murano. He then asks me if he could help me with anything on his lot I told him no the reason that I had stopped in was I currenlty drive an 03 Nissan Murano and heard about the 2009 Murano deal, that was the reason I wanted the telephone number. He then says if I can no longer help you, you can leave. I just looked at him and left. HELP . Its a sad day when a dealership can not give you another dealerships number, and claims to have no affiliations. To others beware of this Dealership. This incident occured today 1-29-2009 around 4:30pm. After Leaving I called Nissan Of Greer (after Paying Alltel Information $1.00) And am on way to look at a Murano that was in fact a 2009 at the price I had heard on 102.5. Thanks for nothing Nissan Of Easley. You should be ashamed!!
