I was in Dodge's and bought some of their food items and gas. I pointed to the items I wanted but the young girl and I mean Girl never left the register and was just looking toward my direction and SHE charged me for the wrong Item. When she came over to get my items she started putting a different item in the box and I corrected her and she looked a little perturbed about it and I offered to pay the difference to get what I had originally requested. The price difference shown is 10 cents difference. It should not have been more than 20 cents. How much was I charged 75 cents. The food is already overpriced. The product I got was Hash Browns and they were overcooked and had been out too long already. What makes me so angry was the lack of respect by her standing behind the register too far off to see what it was I was actually pointing to. I have Alzheimer and I was having a problem with the finding the word Hashbrowns in my head at the moment and I said these potatoes here and not the wedges. I do not recommend dodge's Chicken Store in Easley, SC as a safe place to shop for Seniors or especially if you have thinking and memory problems for they will take advantage and rip you off if the can!
I really like our local gas station. The gas prices are very good and they don't get enough credit I think. They also have a great little restaurant inside that has GREAT fried apple burritos. The prices are not bad for a convenience store. I suggest giving them a try.
It was ok trying to get prices on the merchandise I bought.Seemed a lil high.Almost$2.00 for a bag of chips.
