I'm not satisfied w/ my purchase of the 2006 PT cruiser. Reason being is when I purchased this car in 9/2009 I was under the impression I had warranty insurance. It was offered to me at the time of purchase. Of course I wanted the insurance. Well 10 mths. latter June 2010 the flywheel went and I took the car back to McKinney Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I was told by the service Dept. I had no warranty insurance and the cost to fix the car would be $600.00. I spoke w/ Mr. Bobby Roberts on June 28,2010, of Mckinney Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Mr. Roberts explained the insurance company of Mckinney Dodge Chrysler Jeep did not pick me up as a customer and therefore did not allow the financing of the vehicle and their warranty insurance by Credit Acceptance Corporation was not applied due to I was not their customer. However, Nicholas Finance picked up the credit and I became a customer of Nicholas Finance. Mr. Roberts went on to say Nicholas would not purchase the warranty. It would have increased the interest rate of the purchase of the car. However at the time of purchase I did not know this and I was not given an option to purchase the warranty insurance. I had to borrow the money to pay to have my car fixed from friends and family members. I did talk to Rick Jenkins about purchasing the car insurance now. However, it is very expensive. SO PEOPLE TAKE A CLOSER LOOK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING BEFORE SIGNING ON THE DOTTED LINE. Maybe it was an honest mistake by the car dealer not offering me the car insurance. Or the car was jacked up to only operate for a couple of mths. If it was an honest mistake, I should not have been made to pay to have the car fixed but compensated for their mistake. And low and behold I was hoodwinked and bamboozled out of $600.00.

We have been in our CRV for less than a year. Service department noticed a potential problem during a routine service visit. Amanda in the service department asked us to bring it back in two weeks to recheck the issue. Turns out there was an issue with the oil seal. Since the car is still under warranty, it was completely covered. Amanda made sure to get us a rental car, unsure of how long they would have our CRV. I called the service department later the same day and requested, since they had the car, to see if they could remove a stain on the front set. They were happy to do that. Amanda called about 6:45 that evening and said the car was ready. We were expecting to be in the rental for a few days. When we picked up the car the next morning, they had cleaned all of the upholstery, not just the front seat. I would name every person that touched our vehicle if I knew their names! What an awesome service department!
This is the second car I have bought from Hendrick Honda in the past 3 years. Both times I was looking for a particular car and they did not have it at the time I was at the store. But both times they found what I wanted, one time at another Hendrick dealership, and this time the same day they called me about what I wanted that just came in. Everybody from the sales person, service, finance, and every employee you walk past during you time there are so friendly and helpful. They truly make car buying FUN and EASY again. People I told about my 2011 Yukon I bought could not believe the price I got it for and the trade I was given on my truck. I will tell everyone, these people are super professional and care about their customers . Thanks to P. Howell for being so nice and looking out for me and the car I wanted. God Bless.
I was visiting from out of town when my Honda CRV started acting up. This was the first time I had any kind of problem with it, in almost 90,000 miles. I was very apprehensive about where to take it, not being familiar with anyone here, and had always heard horror stories about dealerships overcharging and just not doing a good job. Not the case here. They did a thorough check of the car, told me what needed to be fixed immediately and what could wait until I got back home. The finished job was done quickly and was a lot less than what I had expected. Mr, Shirley was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend these guys without hesitation and plan on using them again for general maintenance when I'm in the area. They didn't just get a new local customer...they got one from two states away.
I would not even consider taking my Honda Accord to another dealership to have it serviced...Hendrick Honda Easley offers an very pleasant and accommodating atmosphere which make it easy for a customer to communicate the necessary maintenance required at a specific time frame. Appointments are made with your convenience in mind and the service personnel complete the work on your car within the time they hare indicated. The technicians provide superior workmanship. EMily Orr was the technician that worked on my car June 16 when it was in for regular service requirements. She was per personally and her work ethic was superior. When I drive my car out of Hendrick's I know that I will able to depend on the performance that Honda for which Honda is so respected.
They did the big things right; I felt like I got a fair deal on my trade and my new car. However, the experience was unnecessarily tainted because they refused to throw in rubber floor mats. I'm 50 and have bought lots of cars and I'm used to having dealers always throw in a set of floor mats for good feeling. Not here! These guys "Came down" to $160 and explained that to go lower would cause them to lose money. This was an obvious lie since 30 seconds search on the internet showed lots of Honda Dealers selling genuine Honda rubber mats for $99 on e-bay. I showed the salesman this fact but it didn't change anything. I would say it was really foolish for this dealer to spoil the good feeling on a $23,000 purchase by getting cheap on $99 floor mats.
While in the dealership, I met a salesperson, "Duck" that let me know from the start he was interested in my situation. He was not pushy yet gathered my information. We exchanged pleasant, professional, useful conversation. Duck helped me find a car just right for my pocket book and assisted with financing. I know he gave me the best deal possible. This is my first experience with Nissan but will not be the last. I advise you to reach out to "Duck". I noticed he has received many awards through Nissan. He is the man to ask for there and I trust him to make a great deal. He will only sell you what you need. Tell him I sent you so I can get my $100 referral fee. Even if you don't,Duck works hard for you and deserves the commission he receives.
I have been taking my Toyota to Hendrick Honda of Easley for 2 years. I love that I can take my car to any Hendrick dealership and they can look it up and service it. Hendrick Honda of Easley is fantastic. I haven't had any problem that they won't fix. So nice, professional, courteous and genuine. Just got my car back from their detail shop. WOW! They did a wonderful job getting it clean...like new!! My Rav-4 is the doggie car, so there was lots of hair caught in the carpet...and they got it all out!! I didn't think they could impress me any more than they already have, but they did. Highly recommend!!!!
My experience with Hendrix Honda, specifically with Jamie, was great. My Honda overheated and it was discovered that it had a cracked block. The car is a 2006 Civic with 126K on the odometer. I thought I would have to scrap the car. It was discovered that there was a bulletin abut the crack in the blocks and that Honda would replace the engine. I expected several weeks of downtime for this repair. Hendrix Honda picked my car up on Friday morning and called me on Saturday morning and told me my car was ready. All I had to do was sign and pick up my car. NO CHARGE!! No even for the tow. Great job guys!!!!
The customer service experience was great, but I am not sure how long I will be a Honda owner. I have been having problems will the roughness of riding ever since my first tire rotation back in 2013 at the Easley location. At first I thought maybe it was the tires, but why buy a new car without good tires? I will be buying more tires soon (now that it has been a little over a year since I've had the car) to see if that makes my ride smoother. After the first tire rotation with the new tires, if my car shakes, I will be putting the old tires back on and trading my car in for a different make!
