LD Swain charged us $90 for a ...

LD Swain charged us $90 for a service call to fix their problematic air conditioner coil replacement which was still under warranty! We will never use them again. They installed our two HVAC systems in 2000 and have serviced them ever since. In Sept 2010, LD Swain had to do a $1,148 coil replacement on one of the units; we paid the bill promptly as usual. Nine months later, there was a problem with their installation; their worker fixed the problem right away and said that the repair was under warranty. We have since been invoiced for $90 for the service call. My husband wanted to discuss the problem with one of the owners but could not get past the woman who does the billing. She insists that the repair was under warranty but that the labor to make the service call was not. What she failed to understand is that, if they had done the coil replacement correctly to begin with, there would not have been a need for a service call! We will pay the $90 but will never use them again.

Quick, Excellent Service

LD Swain fixed our problematic Air Handler in an extremely cost-effective and speedy manner. After two years, the problem remains fixed ... something 3 other local contractors could not, or would not, do.
