Internal Credit Systems, Inc.

Received a call from this company concerning a cancelled gym membership in which the gym owner and myself had already spoken about the contract being canceled. I sent the gym owner the requested documentation. Fast forward to today and I receive this call from the most arrogant, rude S.O.B. I have ever spoken to in my life. After reading the reviews and complaints of this so-called "credit agency" I can honestly say this company will never get a dime from me. The "douche nozzle" even threatened me with court, yeah not happening.

Extremely rude. I asked a simple question. The man on the other line yelled and me and then proceeded to hang up on me!!!! Never in my life have I experienced such a rude person. I was nothing but nice and asked a quick simple question.

Rude called me stupid for trying to find out when this supposed bill was from Anytime fitness should rethink doing business with this person I will never recommend them to anyone .. just a note wasn't even my bill

Do not fear the Internal Credit System they are nothing more than a simple scare tactic! The person in charge that I talked to is not aware of anything he speaks he stated he would turn me over to an attorney where I instantly stopped him and asked him to clarify what he said and at that point his whole attitude changed! Do not let the loud mouth scare you especially if you are being charged for services you did not receive!

His name is Theodore Lachman. He is the president and I too recently got to hear his ball full of joy attitude towards everything. Nothing new for me but I got his name. It's also on their website as the president. I can't believe they let him up that high in the food chain. Hope that helps

I called about a so called bill I owe to a gym. Mind you I paid my last $42 to the gym but their billing continued and somehow I owe over $400 apparently. When they answered, the acted like I should know and why the hell am I calling them if I wasn't going to pay them. When I asked about the bill, why so much, and how do I even owe it. They said you owe it, you signed a gym membership. They hung up once I asked for a person in charge. I called back and got the same person, and was hung up on again. On the 3rd time I got someone else who answered the phone with "What do you want," or something to the effect. He is like you called here 6 times now, and I am the highest up you can talk to here. I laughed at him, said you are not to contact me again by phone or mail, and they aren't getting a penny. I then called the old gym and complained, and they said once it leaves the billing they have no control. LIE'S! They choose who to deal with on collection. I said even if I had owed you anything after getting treated that way by that collection company they chose I wouldn't pay anything. Customer relations is key in any business! Cant go on credit report either, so good luck people!

This is a very small collection agency that likes to act tough and apparently likes to think they have more power than they really do. Don't listen to their false threats of legal action if you dont pay them. Most of what they handle are canceled gym memberships so u would love to try and see them take someone to court over that. Also a police officer in Durham said do not pay these people under any circumstances that they will say you never payed them and from the looks of what people are saying when you search them it seems to be true.

The man I spoke with was extremely rude and un Profesional and was yelling in the background to someone to look up my account. He acted as if I was dumb. Didn't even ask for my file number right away. He hung up on me. I called back and was hung up on again. I can't believe someone can conduct business as this company does. I am not dumb and don't treat people as if they are because at some point in time someone was down on their luck and got sent to collections over $190 gym memebership. I may even put this company and man on blast to the media!!!

I called to settle or dispute a matter with this company. The man I spoke with was very rude, told me I didn't know what I was talking about, that I was just making up stuff about my contract. I explained to him I was holding the contract in my hand that the company who turned me over to collections, with whom I'd just spoke to had the same copy. He proceeded to call me a liar and hang up the phone. I called right back an this time was told he didn't have time to talk to me. Third time he asked how I got their name anyway and refused to give me their address so I could dispute this debt. Fourth call, different man answers, places me on hold an never returns back to my call. Several attempted calls after that were just gone unanswered. I don't understand how they can keep a business open. Luckily my phone records all calls so this business can't deny I attempted to contact them and settle this bogus debt. If you read this before making a call to this company make sure to record all conversations. They are extremely unprofessional and in no way willing to discuss your debt collection!
