Our heater went out on a REALLY cold Sunday, and I checked out local reviews and called Accu-Air first thing Monday morning. They were backed up for Monday, but scheduled us for 8:30 AM Tuesday. Chad (the technician) arrived PRECISELY on time, went to the crawl space, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes, had the appropriate part on his truck, replaced the burnt-out ignitor, and waited until everything was working to check things out. Total time 1 hour. I cannot say enough good things about Accu-Air.
Unlike some of the other reviews, I found the office staff to be very courteous. Perhaps a different person or a different day.

The actual technicians at Accu-Air are great, and very professional. I was more than pleased with Accu-air until I got a phone call regarding a payment for an invoice I wasn't aware of. As I was apologizing for any misunderstanding and trying to work out the logistics of getting my check to them, the woman on the phone apparently couldn't control herself enough to stop a constant verbal barrage of accusation of how she knew I already knew about the missed payment before she called. I was dismayed and shocked, and will look elsewhere for my hvac service in the future.

I had high hopes after reading the reviews here and after our first meeting with Accu-Air. Things got strange after that. Issues: (1) It took several days to get a quote. (2) The quote had the wrong size for one of our AC units. (3) When questioned on the equipment size, he claimed that he drove by our house to confirm the size of our current equipment, then insisted our current equipment was different, smaller model than what we actually had. This insistence upon something that was both wrong and easily checked was quite odd. (4) The quote included a furnace that we weren't sure we needed on one floor, and no option w/o a new furnace. (5) When questioned on the furnace, he painted a picture of our current equipment that was somewhat inconsistent with and much worse than what we saw and discussed on his visit.
Perhaps he had a bunch of people asking for quotes at the same time and got us confused with another customer. This would explain both the delay and confusion. Whatever the reason, it was frustrating to wait several days for the quote and then deal with these issues. We gave up on them.

I couldn't agree more with the three 5-star reviews already posted. We wanted to upgrade our heating and AC in an older home --- Larry (the owner) was very thorough in laying out the options and provided a detailed, written estimate. No surprises. All our questions were answered before, during, and after. And the crew who performed the work were professional and courteous.

I had 2 new Trane gas furnaces installed in my house by Larry and his team. Quality and attention to detail may be going out of style in many businesses, but not with Accu-Air. I am amazed and very, very satisfied with the whole job: estimate and execution!

Working with Larry and his staff at Accu-Air was a pleasure. The quote for my new heating and air system was very detailed and accurate. There were no hidden suprises. I am completely satisfied with my new system and highly recommend Accu-Air for anyone looking for a quality contractor. Larry is very knowledgeable on the changing technology in the HVAC field.
