This is the place to go first....

This is the place to go first. I visited a bunch of dealerships searching for an affordable used car that was good on gas. It was exhausting. A Lot of Cars was the best experience and best deal I found. I ended up with a Honda Civic of the 8 Honda Civics they had at the time for me to choose from. They must have like 200 cars! They back up their vehicles with free services and a great selection of vehicles. They certify the mileage on all their cars and give you an autocheck so I didn't have to pay money for a carfax for each vehicle I was interested in. I test drove maybe 4 or 5 cars that I liked and put money down towards my Honda. That was about 7 months ago. No problems and I've received a free oil change from them twice now. I've recommended this place to my friends.

Family Feel. Great Service. Wonderful selection of Cars.

I had only $1500 for a downpayment from my tax refund, and I have terrible credit. They worked with me and listened instead of trying to push me toward the car they wanted to sell me. I had about 30 cars to chose from and test drove three of them I liked.

I love my Honda! It drives great and I haven't had any major problems with it. Unlike some of the other dealers I went to in Durham, A Lot of Cars had low mileaged Hondas, Toyotas, GMs and Nissans.

They also had a wide selection of cars under $3000, but I was looking for a very specific car for myself.

When you need repairs done, you can just take your car back to either their Durham or Roxboro location and they will fix it really cheap.

I've recommended this place to all of my friends at church b/c it really feels like they want you to have a great experience buying a car.

Best car dealer in the Triangle!! Hands Down

I only had $1000 for a downpayment and I ended up driving away with a great car. Since I had such a great experience with my car and working with the people at A Lot of Cars, I've referred my brother and a cousin of mine who have also had great experiences. They take care of you and treat you with respect and kindness. I've had a few minor repairs that the car has needed and I take all my repairs back to A Lot of Cars b/c you can't beat their prices and the repairs are quality.

If you ever have a problem, you just take it back to the dealer and they get right on diagnosing the problem for free. If it needs to be fixed, they charge you 50% off of what the labor would be at another place. I looked into the A/C repair I had done was really cheap at A Lot of Cars versus another mechanic shop.

If you are shopping around for a vehicle, definitely stop by A Lot of Cars. They will continue to take care of you even after you're done making your monthly payments.

How does this place stay in business?

I don't know how this place stays in business. The employees are very rude and their vehicle are faulty. The financing charges are outragious and the vehicles are priced well over the blue book value. Beware of these scammers.

Read the Reviews and They are True.....Best Dealer I've Purchased a Car From

My friends at the hospital had told me to visit A Lot of Cars and so I looked them up online to see what other people had said. The reviews I read were good and so was my experience which is why i felt I should write a review as well.

I ended up chosing a Honda Accord and I love it. They had 5 Hondas for me to choose from and they weren't pushy at all like some salespeople I've encountered at other dealers. I didn't have the full amount for the downpayment so I put $500 down for them to put the car on layaway for me.

The best part are the services that the owners of A Lot of Cars provide after you make your purchase. I've owned my car for about a year now, and I've had my oil changed twice for free now and I've also had free diagnostic work done as well. It turned out that they were able to save me about 40% off what I would have been charged at another mechanic shop when my altinator went bad. True to their word, they charged me cost for the parts, and split the cost of labor with me 50/50.

I can't write enough good things about my experience. I have told many people at the hospital that if they need a used car and want a company that takes care of its customers, then they should visit A Lot of Cars.

If you are a Duke employee, like I am, you also get $100 off your purchase. It was a great experience and when it comes time for me to purchase another car, I won't need to research it....I'll be going straight to A Lot of Cars.

Durham's BEST car dealer

We stopped at A Lot of Cars because it was right down the road from us. They were really straightforward and not pushy at all. We ended up with a really nice Toyota Camry that was clean and hasn't given us any problems at all. At the time, they had 5 Toyotas and 6 Hondas for us to choose from. Some of which were only $1000 down.

The folks at A Lot of Cars take care of your car for as long as you own in terms of free oil changes and free diagnostic work. We've changed the oil twice already and when we did have some problems with the car starting, they determined that it was the starter and fixed it up without charging us a lot of money. We checked with other mechanic shops just to be sure and it was about half of what we would have spent elsewhere.

We've recommended this place to everyone in the hospital and all of our friends because we've had some really bad experiences at other car lots. A Lot of Cars has many many vehicles to choose from and it was and continues to be a really positive experience working with them.

Best car purchasing experience I've ever had

I heard great things about A Lot of Cars through my sister who purchased a car there two years ago. I don't have the best credit but they worked with me with only $1000 down. The whole experience was a pleasure. As long as you have the right amount for the downpayment, you don't have to wait there forever to get credit approval.....I was out the door with keys in hand withing 20 minutes. If you don't have the full amount down, they can do a lay away on your car until you come up with the rest of the money.

I received good prices and they didn't try to put me in a car that I couldn't afford. My monthly payments are only $275 / month and I've already recommended my other family members to go there if they need a car. They are awesome. Good quality cars as well. If you need a reliable car and don?t want to waste your time getting the runaround, stop here first! They honestly do their best to make you happy not only on the day of your purchase, but they help you maintain your car even after it's paid off. How can you beat that?

Best used car dealer in Triangle!

Only had $1000 for a downpayment and they worked with me without givin me a runaround. Bought a really nice Lincoln that to this day rides really smooth. I've recommended this place to a lot of my friends because they take care of you. It's been two years now and I'm working with them to get another car.

What they tell you about helping you out with repairs is true. They have a bunch of mechanics and if anything is going on with your car, you just take it there and they get right on diagnosing the problem for free. If it needs to be fixed, they charge you 50% off of what the labor would be at another place. I looked into it and the brake repair I had done was really cheap at A Lot of Cars versus another mechanic shop.

This is the place you need to buy a car from. They treat you right and continue to take care of you even after you're done making your monthly payments.

Best Car Dealer in Triangle

This place was recommended to me by my sister who had a good experience there. There were well over 150 cars to choose from and the salespeople spoke fluent spanish and english. I ended up getting a nice chevy pickup truck for only $1000 down. I've had it for just over a year and have recommended friends of mine to visit their business since they really take care of you and your vehicle after the purchase.

I wouldn't go anywhere else for a car or truck and I send all my friends and family members there when they need a new vehicle.

Wonderful experience -- especially for a used car dealership!

I heard about A Lot of Cars through a friend of mine who spoke highly of them. I was skeptical at first, but ended up really enjoying my experience of not only purchasing a car, but financing it and getting repairs done.

I don?t have good credit, but they have their own finance company so they didn?t have to run my social security # with a bunch of companies or make me wait to get approved. If anything goes wrong with a car that you purchase from them, they charge you only cost for parts and take 50% off labor as long as you?ve made your monthly payments on time. It worked out really well when I needed brakes done and also a radiator replaced.

With over 250 vehicles, and some were only $750 to $1000 down, more than likely, they have what you are looking for. If you need a reliable car and don?t want to spend a ton of money, stop here first!

They DO have A LOT of cars....

I thought the name of this place was kinda funny so I decided to check it out. They had close to 150 cars, trucks, SUVs, vans etc.... I was looking for a small car that was not a stick shift. I didn't feel pressured and the car salesman left me alone to think about my options.

I ended up with a really great little Honda Civic and the people at A Lot of Cars have helped me maintain it even after I paid it off. Free oil changes and really cheap prices on engine work. I have recommended this place to my friends and thought I might as well write a citysearch rec too.

Hope you find a reliable car too!

Great people!

A wonderful experience. Prices were reasonable, but the best part is the service. The dealership stands by their product with a 5 bay garage and mechanics who service your car even after you purchase it. They don't charge much to keep it maintained.
