I called on 6/27/16 to make an appointment to have my braids taken out. My appointment was set for 6p the same day. I informed the receptionist that I would more than likely arrive a little early. I arrived at 5:28p for my 6p appointment and to my surprise, the shop was dark/closed (although, they are not supposed to close until 8p). I called the listed number and the same person that I had spoken with answered the phone. I asked why she was closed and she responded "Well, I thought you were coming in early, so when we didn't see you we closed". After, I confirmed with her that my appointment was scheduled for 6p, she then replied "oh, well can you come tomorrow". HELL NO I cannot. I am completely dismayed. This has got to be the worst customer service EVER. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone, because apparently, my $ and my time are not appreciated.

I had a class-mate that went there to get her hair braided and the stylist did not complete her hair. My class-mate took her home and gave her a tip on top of that. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
This is the worst shop I have EVER BEEN TO!!!! The service is terrible , the shop owner knows nothing about customer service, the braids look good but they slip and fall out after about two weeks and start looking old! The first time I went is took then 12 HOURS to do box braids and by week two 12 slip out! She never said sorry, have me a refund or already gave me a discount ! But crazy me I tried her again today for jumbo cornrows and showed her a picture of how I wanted. They looked horrible, a teenage braiding for extra money could have done better and would have charged way less, they looked nothing like the picture and when I got home I started hating it even more! So I called to asked a simple change to try and make it look better and she said no, she was going to charge me more!!! So I have learned my lesson and I am trying to warn everyone else from deal with this mess!! Don't go here! Trust me you can find A lot other place to braid do your hair with better customer service, better prices and better quality!!!
I wish I would have saved my money, I was told one thing over the phone and another in person. I had to blow dry my own hair, less than 2 weeks later my braids began to unravel and several stray hairs were left out with long strands of unbraided hair on the end of each braid. There is a sign in the store that reads no refund, store credit, customer satisfaction important, however, customer satisfaction i have learned means going to court for a true resolve.
I started going to chichris for over 4 years immediately after the business changed management to Mrs. Florence. I enjoy the professionalism, love the hair and especially how she treats me as a customer so much that after i moved from Durham to Greensboro i go back every 3 months for my micros. I get so many compliments from co-workers who know understand why i take the drive. Florence is a woman of integrity and honor who stands behind her work.Thanks Florence have a great New Years!!!!!
