If only I could rate these people less than a one-star then ABSOLUTELY I would. I was not only disappointed but outraged by the lack of care the people at Bob Schmitz provide. If you have any type of problem with the property you're renting, from small to large, they will NOT get back to you. Only with persistence and incredible patience on my part was I able to get things resolved, like say a FAULTY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Mind you I was with them for three years (I'm surprised I stuck around for that long, but financial reasons left me no choice), and their lack of professionalism left me so bitter. So please, if you're reading this, please consider other property management before Bob Schmitz...and I mean if they were the last standing property management in the COUNTRY. Save yourself the trouble.
Please, please pay attention to the 1-star reviews on here. The 5-star reviews aren't real. NO ONE has ever had a good experience from Bob Schmitz. You can literally be the cleanest, best, most punctual tenant in the world and they'll still find a way to rob you blind. You could rent a cardboard box from a homeless man and still have a better landlord experience.
Hilarious that they keep giving themselves 5-star reviews on here. They're unpleasant people. They steal security deposits from good tenants. They're the worst property management company imaginable.
Susan, please stop reviewing yourself and giving Bob Schmitz 5 stars. Its painfully obvious it you. It is entertaining to read your emails and see how similar it is to these reviews. And whoever else is writing good ones, I hope you are being payed as well as "J N services - cleaning" is... or at least getting a chunk of the security deposits you guys steal from people
I don’t usually write reviews but really wanted to show my appreciation for a job well done. I waited a few weeks after getting my car repaired to make sure it continued to run well before writing a review about it. I kept waiting for it to struggle up a hill as it did before, but it is running smoothly.Accurate Transmissions in Durham was a little out of my way, but they came highly recommended. I have an older model Honda and was afraid that my car had completely died and that I would have to buy another car, for which I didn’t want to have a car payment. The mechanic (and I believe the owner) offered to have me towed. He told me some other things needed repaired along with the transmission work. I knew that his assessment was authentic because he didn’t want to take a chance on making some of the other repairs himself, so I knew he wasn’t trying to sell those repairs to me.My Honda is running great! I’m so excited that I took a chance to have my car repaired and didn’t give up hope on it. It was a much better option having the transmission repairs instead of having another car payment, or forking out cash on another car. Accurate Transmissions also kept me current on the repair process. I highly recommend this shop.
I needed to get my transmission fixed and saw accurate transmissions online. They had my car running in no time. Very good price. Would recommend to others.
I am furious with these people. I had been going there for routine things. Suddenly I began having trouble with my VW Jetta. I took it to them and they told me it was a problem with the transmission and that they'd have to rebuild it for $3,000. I was upset at the cost, but ok'd it. When I got the car back many days later, it was still jerking when accelerating. Not fixed! He claimed it had to break in for 100 miles or so. I took it right back and they promised me they'd fix it right this time. Yeah, right. They had my car for a long time and they never told me what was going on. I called and they said one of the parts they put in was bad. A few days later they said they were waiting for new transmission fluid to arrive. When I get the car back again, it's still not fixed!!!! I was so angry. I took it to a VW dealership the other day and they said the wrong transmission fluid was put in! Aamco claimed they got the right stuff and that they have a receipt. Yet, how the heck does thet prove they didn't put the wrong fluid in??? VW also stated it was at the wrong level. It ruined the transmission totally now and it's going to cost me $4,300 to completely replace it. I am livid and plan on taking Aamco's owner to court.
