Founded in 1990, Family Medical Supply is a full-service company that supplies home oxygen and medical equipment throughout central and eastern North Carolina. It offers nebulizers and respiratory medications, as well as hospital beds, wheelchairs, power scooters, compression stockings, diabetic supplies and bathroom safety aids. The company also has trained certified fitters and specialists for the fitting of diabetic shoes. In addition, Family Medical Supply provides concentrators, suction machines, walkers, scooters, breast pumps, cushions, transport chairs and air flotation mattresses. It is staffed with more than 80 individuals, including respiratory therapists, seating and mobility specialists and certified mastectomy fitters. The company is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. Family Medical Supply is a member of the North Carolina Association for Medical Equipment Services, Home Medical Services of the Carolinas and American Association for Homecare.
