A cardboard box is better than this complex. Besides the staff never acting responsive, they will not notify you of a package that has arrived. Had a gift spoil at the office, after sitting there for 3 months! They recently lost a class action lawsuit for gouging their residents with cable conne…

Living in small space doesn't mean you can't have a furry friend -- it just means you have to do some planning.
We've put together a small list to get you started on your journey -- and the first step starts with a single box.
Absolutely the worst property management company I have ever seen. I ended up having to get a restraining order against my wife because she was doing shady things and my car got shot with a .45 caliber handgun. I went to Gary at PMU and showed him everything. I was accused of lying about the car being shot and instead Gary said it was a metal rod shoved through the car door. Nevermind the fact I was in the military and know what bullet holes look like and I had a police report. But yeah I am a liar... The whole time come time I am living there, I was getting charged for a pet that I didn't have. Danny with PMU couldn't comprehend how to use a computer and fix the problem. Now move out time and they charged me for nasty carpets and touch up paint on the walls. Well, it was documented the carpets were stained when I moved in and I paid to have the carpets professionally cleaned but they still tried charging me. The touch up pain cost me $237 which is a complete joke because that house needed a ton of touch up paint when we moved in but I get stuck with paying for it? PMU was asked to change the locks when we moved in but instead took the door lock off the back door and didn't put one back on there for 9 months. The one they put on had no key that would work on it. PMU is a complete joke and definitely not a good management company. Stay far away from them because they don't know how to manage anything other than how to screw things up.
We rented a place for a whole year and paid rent on time, maybe one time we were late. When we signed our contract to lease for another year after agreeing to an amount, a couple of weeks later we received a letter in the mail stating that the property owner was going up on the rent due to not affording the taxes on the house. It also stated to agree to the terms or be out by the end of the month. So here we are now packing and moving out.
I will not do business with them again. There were plenty of times we had to contact the management twice for maintenance. The property manager did an inspection one time and was just clicking the camera and half the time the camera was facing the floor. She completed another inspection before we moved out she took pictures of the property and of me while I was in my pajamas. Thank God she didn't post that picture. I was a little reluctant in agreeing to the terms of the lease when they asked for three times the deposit due to one of the tenants had a ding on her credit. I was just hoping they would not try to scam me out of my deposit when it was time to move out. Well, lo and behold. They found a way to take over half of our deposit. We had been in that property for 3 years which means that there would be some wear and tear. I don't believe they took that into consideration. They made it a point to let me know that they have to protect the owner of the property. Wow! So, I guess that means that the tenant has to take whatever decision the decision is---fair or unfair. Besides some other fees, they charged me 75% of the cost to replace the carpet. I am disgusted by this. The owner got new carpet at my expense. I was told the carpet had pet odor and was damaged. I have lived in other rental homes and have never had a problem with pet odors and have always received my deposit back. What makes this worse is the toilet overflowed and ruined the carpet and padding (and it smelled) in one room and we had to pay 75% of the cost to replace the carpet. That just don't sound right or fair! They didn't bother replacing the carpet then. They shouldn't have replaced it at our expense. After the emails back and forth, the property manager tried to make me feel bad. The property manager made it very clear she was protecting the owner of the property even though the tenants are also customers. Shame on the property manager, the homeowner, and Century 21 Judge Fite Property Management. If you don't want to be taken for a ride, don't go to Century 21 Judge Fite.
Terrible rental company. In 2012 I needed to find a home to rent in Arlington. We were transitioning out of the military and weren't ready to buy yet. I looked at a few places and ended up going with a home in south Arlington that Century 21 Judge Fite Company was the property manager of. The problems started early... When I was shown the home, it had a refrigerator in it and when I asked the guy from the company that was showing it to me if it would stay, he said yes. This guy was also extremely rude and never took his headphones out of his ears. He kept listening to music the entire time and barely listened to what I was asking. When I moved into the house 2 weeks later, I immediately noticed 2 things wrong: the refrigerator was no longer there, and the A/C wasn't working. It was June and already in the high 90s. I called and they said "oh, we'll have someone come fix that when we can". It took 5 days to get the AC fixed. 5 days in June that I HAD to stay at the house and sleep in that miserable heat. I asked if they would at least pay for me to stay at a hotel or something since it couldn't be fixed sooner, and they said that the only way they would pay for that was if the temperature outside went up past 100 degrees. It was 98 that day. They had 2 weeks to make sure the house was ready for me to move in, so there was no excuse for the AC that didn't work. Later, once my family had joined me in the home, we noticed that some of the boards on the backyard fence were broken and rotting. We let the company know that they needed to be fixed because it looked like it could be a potential hazard if left alone. They never responded. Then after a storm, several of the boards did fall to the ground. I called and emailed and no one responded. We propped the boards back up but they again fell, and this time, my 2 year old son stepped on one of the broken boards with a rusty nail sticking up out of it and it cut his foot. We took pictures of the broken fence, boards, nail, and his bloody foot and sent them in an email to the Judge Fite managment company. They FINALLY sent someone out a week later to fix the fence. When our lease was coming to an end, we bought a house and we moved out. We fully expected to get all or at least most of our deposit back. We then get a bill about a month later that says our deposit covered damages to the house and FENCE and that even our $1200 deposit didn't cover all of it so we owed them $100! I couldn't believe the gall of this company. I tried to fight it but they said that we had to pay it or be sent to a collection agency. I was frustrated and had a lot going on so we finally just paid it and moved on. This review is long but I just wanted to share our experience to prevent others from using this company. If you're looking to rent a house and this company is the property manager, DO NOT USE THEM. They are terrible, unprofessional, will neglect your needs, and then will charge you an arm and a leg for things not justified. You've been warned.
Loretta is personable, friendly, and smart. She has a real handle on the market and sold our home quickly. We actually will be calling her again.
Efurd Properties has been a great source of peace of mind in retaining renters and keeping our homes in good repair. Payments are very prompt and communication is good. They are considerate in their handling of challenging situations. Thank you Cary!
Very responsive, but did have one issue during my 5 years with them. My property is well taken care of except for one time that cost me unexpected cost. Other than that, it's been a mostly a trouble free relationship.
Efurd properties deliver excellent customer service. They always answer the phone and are able to get an answer quickly. They are well organized and staffed with professionals. Their maintenance staff is speedy and intelligent.
We just put our house up for lease thru Efurd Management. Haven't had a whole lot of interaction yet, but when we decided to use them it was easy to see how much they would do for their customers. Can't wait till we get our first renter.
An excellent, professionally-managed company. Top-notch customer service. Prompt replies to phone and email. The entire Efurd team has impressed me from the day I first started doing business with them.
