The Human Development Center, also known as HDC, is a community mental health facility that provides a range of services to the residents of Carlton, Cook, Lake and southern St. Louis counties in Minnesota. It is a private, nonprofit organization that has been operational since 1938. The center also offers psychiatric, psychotherapy, outreach, and adult and child case management solutions. The Human Development Center provides a community support program that assists individuals in recovering from mental illnesses. In addition, it offers memory assessment and psychological testing services. The center provides the Strong Families program. The Human Development Center additionally offers online screening options for mental health issues. It has The Human Development Center Foundation.
