General Info

Dr. Gary Strohmeyer & Dr. Chris Strohmeyer Dr. Gary is a native Dubuquer. Nancy (team member) is Gary's wife. They have two sons, Dr. Chris and Jesse, who is regional IT with Whole Foods in Westminster, Colorado. Dr. Gary attended Loras College before moving on to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1980. Dr. Gary's post graduation seminars include advanced continuing education in Periodontal therapy, Cosmetic dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Implantology and associated surgical procedures with implant placement, Occlusion, and Prosthodontics (dentures and crowns). Professional memberships include: American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Dubuque County Dental Association, along with staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center (hospital), Dubuque. Dr. Chris was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. He has been practicing dentistry since 2000. After dental school Chris moved back to Dubuque to join the family practice and to raise his family. Chris has two boys Kellen 9 and Reed 6. Chris did his undergraduate studies at Loras College before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2000. His Postgraduate education includes advanced training in cosmetic dentistry from the University of Minnesota Postgraduate Program In Esthetic Dentistry. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses dealing with occlusion, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, pedodontics, oral surgery and implants. Dr. Chris is also Invisalign certified and is an Invisalign preferred provider. Dr. Chris is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dubuque District Dental Society, and also is involved in the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce.
