In addition to our full-service bar, we also have a banquette room for larger groups. Reservations accepted, but not required. About the Restaurant:The Bridge Restaurant & Lounge has been serving Dubuque, Iowa since 1961. The restaurant started out as a small cafe, open 24-hours. The Bridge Cafe was a popular spot for breakfast late night Saturday/early Sunday mornings. Almost 50 years later, The Bridge, one of the oldest restaurants in Dubuque, is still going strong. Ray and Sandy Herzog purchased The Bridge in December of 1994 and their son Nick is the manager. We have an excellent long-term staff that is ready to serve you. We offer casual dining for groups of any size. We have three comfortable dining rooms, total seating is 190 and can accommodate parties up to fifty-four in our private room. Try the Ribs!

The BBQ ribs are the best I've had. Fall off-the-bone, fork-tender. You won't be disappointed!

don't waste your time

We have been for the Sunday buffet twice and will not return. Food is mediocre at best (tasteless scrambled eggs, goopy gravy, fruit cocktail). Also we were asked at 12:55 if we wanted any more to eat because ""he"" (cook? owner?) wanted to go to a party. Posted closing time of buffet is 2pm, with notice of no seating after 1pm. We had gotten there around 12:30. After noting this, we were given a half hearted apology and assurance that they weren't trying to kick us out. No discount (even got charged for a 2 year old!), no sincere attempt to fix problem. Advice to restaurant: if you don't want to make people feel kicked out, don't kick them out! DON'T GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. COST IS LOW BUT IT STILL TOO HIGH FOR BLAH FOOD AND RUDE SERVICE.

We just redesigned! Do you like it?
