Dental Examination
An oral exam - one of our dental hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, make sure your teeth and gums are healthy, and check for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay.

Fluoride Treatment
Dental Sealants
Sometimes brushing is not enough. Everyone has hard-to-reach spots in their mouth and brushing doesn't always fully clean those difficult places. When that happens, you are at risk of tooth decay. Using sealants on your teeth gives you an extra line of defense against tooth decay.

Fillings
Tooth bonding can also be used for teeth fillings instead of amalgam fillings. Many patients prefer bonding fillings because the white color is much less noticeable than the silver amalgam fillings. Bonding fillings can be used on front and back teeth depending on the location and extent of tooth decay.
Resin Composite
Newer dental fillings, which are used here in our office, include ceramic and plastic compounds that mimic the appearance of natural teeth. These compounds, called composite resins, are used on the front anterior teeth where a natural appearance is important, but with your posterior teeth as well.
Veneers
Veneers are thin, custom-made 'shells' created out of tooth-colored porcelain and are designed to cover the front side of your teeth to help create a more aesthetically-pleasing smile. In some cases, veneers can be fabricated due to an injury, or purely if you don't like the shape or style of your teeth. You'll notice that veneers are designed to look like your natural teeth and can resist staining, however, it is recommended that you lower your intake of red wine, tea, or tobacco to maintain the beauty of your veneer.
Crowns
Crowns are a cosmetic restoration used to improve your tooth's shape or to strengthen a tooth. Crowns are most often used for teeth that are broken, worn, or have portions destroyed by tooth decay. Typically, a crown appointment requires 2 separate visits.

Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling "bonds" with your teeth, and because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth.

Teeth Whitening
Professional teeth whitening by your doctor is your best choice when you need immediate whitening results. We currently offer Zoom! Whitening by Philips Sonicare, a fast and effective way to boost your teeth up to 8 shades whiter in just one treatment. During your hour and a half whitening treatment, we apply a protective gel to your gums to shield from the whitening gel. The whitening gel is then applied to the teeth and an LED light is used to enhance the results. After three 15 minute applications, desensitizer is applied and the area is cleaned so you can be on your way! Whitening of your teeth may continue take place hours or even days after your appointment.
