My family and I decided to try this pizza place in the mall for lunch this Saturday. After 15 minutes in line (a line that consisted of 3 people) we received our food. The pizza was decent, nothing extraordinary but decent. The garlic knots were stone cold but we both worked in the restaurant field for years when we were younger so we are pretty forgiving. This establishment's time to truly shine came after the meal. My 4 year old wanted to ride a ride at the little kiddie area. The change machine was broken so I asked the cashier to break a dollar for me, I had just spent 20 dollars there so I figured they could at least do me a courtesy....for a 4 year old boy. The cashier told me politely no she couldn't and I asked, "really I just spent 20 dollars at your restaurant and you can't break a dollar so my son can ride a ride"? She went and got her manager and he came out to confront me. He told me the sane thing and I said was ridiculous and I would be calling to register my disappointment. His response to me was and I quote, "Good I hope you call, I want you to call". I must have looked stunned to be treated that way by a grown man in a service industry. I took my phone out to take a picture of the sign so I could look it up when I got home. The grown manager began clapping and saying, "Woo Hoo, he's going to call". 4 people left the line at this outburst from him. I turned around and simply stated, "be a better human being" and walked away. I copied this directly from the restaurant's website, "At VRG we hire for HEART… Hospitality, Energy, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork!" I received none of that, however when I went next door to the Chik Fil A the employees gave me 4 quarters out of their own pockets and told me that they had witnessed the event....Guess where I will be eating the next time I am at the mall.

Closed. Out of Business end of 2018
Closed: out of business. Closed in early 2017. No surprise here. Expensive bad food and worse service.
Terrible food. Not good at all. Olive garden is 10x better. Or carrabas. I order mama's trio, which is alfredo, chicken parmesan, and lasagna. Alfredo was dry and over cooked pasta, like a mush pile. Lasagna was also dry, very little sauce, very little meat. The top piece of lasagna was hard and crispy where it was cooked without sauce. The chicken was ok, the pasta with it was dry, no sauce, just all around bad food. I asked to speak with a manager and some guy that barely spoke English told us he would inform the kitchen of the bad food... didn't offer to discount our meal or anything. Never go here.
All around good pizza. Deep dish is the best!!
I really liked the atmosphere there, but the menu is very limited as far as food and dessert are concerned the portions are kind of small and no garlic bread is served with your dishi will spend the extra money and go to Buca de beppos in the future
