Go anywhere else besides this horrible restaurant. We witnessed a situation where the owner came to address a customer. Rather than being professional and accommodating, we witnessed her accuse the customer of being liars, she admonished them in public view, took no responsibility for the situation. We were so uncomfortable and turned off that we left immediately and decided this was not the type of restaurant we were willing to support in the future. The food was fine, service average, and atmosphere was satisfactory BUT I will NOT put money into the pocket of such a belligerent owner EVER.
Our children got sick from the under cooked chicken terriyaki. They suffered all night. We have been long time customers. I called and the manager who was very apologetic and promised immediate resolution. Once we received a call from the OWNER we received nothing but GRIEF. She was RUDE, ACCUSING, DEMANDING, DID not want to resolve the issue appropriately and did not once apologize for the intense suffering of our children. She demanded we return for a refund with our sick children and said a signature was required for said refund. She admitted she was more concerned about her business than our patronage. We will NEVER return to Matsu Sushi and recommend no one else support such a horrible business owner!!!
Matsu Sushi has always been a good place to eat. However, recently it's even gotten better. The new ownership has cleaned up the inside, added TV's for local sporting events and has added to their line of Japanese beers. They are also tweaking the menu and have been adding a bunch of new items. Keep up the great work Matsu Sushi!!!
