I was greeted by a disgruntled employee who clearly had no passion for her job nor respect for the customer. I happened to forget my barcode to sign in, however this would not have been an issue because I have memorized my barcode number and additionally, they can just as easily me sign in with my first and last name. When I asked her to sign me in, she rudely said “where’s your barcode” and I politely said oh I forgot today. She immediately jumps down my throat telling me I didn’t forget, I just didn’t want to bring it. Scolding me in front of other customers. When my friend asks her to calm down because it shouldn’t be a big deal to type a first and last name quickly, she proceeds to raise her voice and yell at him. Her friend who was also another employee at the front desk comes over and begins to harass us as well, saying I intentionally come in without my barcode. We calmly ask her why she is making such a big deal as to harass the customer she looks at a nearby unrelated CUSTOMER and asks them if they brought their barcode, bringing them into the argument. This was extremely unprofessional. They then held us at the front desk while they continued to argue and tell us off for five more minutes until we asked to go work out. Minutes later, one of the employees confronts us in the middle of the gym and creates another scene in front of everyone working out. I asked him and the female employee to kindly apologize for treating me poorly and I would drop everything. Instead, he says they don’t need to apologize, putting pride before customer satisfaction. The employees then loudly tell their side of the story to another person at the front desk and they all three stare at my friend and I while we worked out for the remainder of the time we were there. Before we left as we gathered our items near the front, I looked as the employee who harassed us expecting an apology. Instead, she rudely stared at me, then said “better bring your barcode next time” in a snarky tone.
