This horribly offensive behavior by the manager Doug at Keenan Mercedes Doylestown compelled me to write this review. As a customer, I have never been treated so disrespectfully. To help facilitate the purchase, Josh Storey did a great job explaining the pricing in comparison to the same model at other locations which were priced significantly lower. However, we were not ready to purchase the 2015 GL 450 for a higher price than the market value and were ready to walk away from the deal.To make a long story short, the manager - Douglas Hagmayer - tried to negotiate a deal with a printed final price of an unpaid balance of $46k (and some change). He specifically indicated that it included the previously discussed extended warranty -- we agreed to that pricing.I double-checked with Doug that the warranty was included to confirm the details of the agreement.When we went to sign the paperwork, I noticed that the unpaid balance amount was about $2000 more than the printed pricing he provided. I asked the finance manager (Renate Pera) why the numbers don't match and requested to see Doug and the paper he initially provided. He came into the room angry and speaking in a very condescending manner. He shouted and lied that the warranty was additional and that he never said that it was included. Despite his unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, we remained calm and level-headed trying to understand why there was such a misunderstanding. I hope no one ever has to encounter this manager - It was a very uncomfortable experience. We did not proceed with the purchase solely based on the way we were treated by him. If he acknowledged his mistake on the paperwork and did not blatantly lie, there could have been a better outcome. I expected a far better customer experience from a Mercedes-Benz dealership. I do appreciate the time and effort by Josh to help with the sales and I do feel bad that Renate had to witness the unnecessary shouting and lies by Doug.

Want to be taken for a ride? Take your car to Fred Beans Ford for service. They charged me over $250 (all labor) to diagnose an emissions system leak in my '06 Galant which they said required dropping the gas tank to find. After telling me the fix would require a new gas tank and a total cost of $1550, I took the car elsewhere for a second opinion. Ends up they never even dropped the tank! They charged me for services they never performed. The rusted bolts were still rusted onto thebody and to drop my tank also requires dropping the exhaust system and it was never moved. I ended up getting the problem solved by the second (certified) mechanic for under $300 (who actually dropped the tank AND fixed another issue in the exhaust system). Fixing it did NOT require a new gas tank. As with any business transaction, trust your gut if you think you're being taken advantage of, and get second opinions if your car is in drivable condition and you have the luxury to take it to another mechanic. I will be outlining these events in a letter to the owners, not sure how that will play out, but I intend to tell everyone I can what has happened here to warn them. Also, depending upon how expeditiously this issue is resolved, I am likely to file a report with the better business bureau and the PA Attorney General Office for fraudulent business practices.
I've been a customer for many years! Just leased my 6th Honda from Keenan. I always deal with Mitch Lesak - a friendly and easy going salesman. Low pressure, lots of great info, and terrific prices. Very happy everytime I go to Keenan. My new 2015 Civic is awesome!!! Highly recommend Kennan and Mitch!
I have been a customer for 15 years and never had a problem until last week. My car was fine until I took it in there- they put brakes on and messed it all up. $630 it cost. Shook like crazy when I tried to go home. Took it back 2 more times and still couldn't fix it. They were not nice about it and would not give me any discount. Finally went to another mechanic who figured out the problem right away and only charged $150. Will never give them my business ever again.
